I put this tube on 80cc motorized bicycle. I had no flats since I often put 30 miles or so when I go out for a ride with no issues . If I had to guess I have about 700-800 miles so far with out a flat . My bike also reaches speeds of 35-40 MPH . Very good tube
I love these tire tubes, I've gotten two giant nails stuck in one of my tires with this tube installed, and it just seals itself back up.....its amazing. ( It may take a few times airing up the tire to push the slime to the hole but it works.) :) Great tire tubes for a great price. Love them. Lol
These tubes will last you long time. Ive had mine for almost a month and have put over 300 miles on them. Still going strong.
Whether you add it to an existing tube or buy tubes with slime already in it, the slime adds a bit of weight to your wheels. It's worth it, but with these extra thick tubes, you can really feel the difference in weight. It takes some getting used to. They do work, though. I ran one of these thicker tubes on my back tire for nearly 8 months. It had multiple holes in it but still held air like a champ. I'd still say get these if you think your situation is dire and you absolutely need the extra thickness to help out. Normal slime tubes work just fine, so these thicker ones just seem like overkill and not really worth the added weight, but it's nice to have the option.
I have a 26" Comfort Mountain Bike in north Phoenix. Have put about 70 miles on after installing. Ran into Goat Heads (aka Puncture Vine) with a regular tube and both tires went flat in 5 minutes. These are way thicker and are equipped with Slime. Not that much harder to install than a regular tube, but is much heavier. That said, the rolling resistance does not seem to be any worse that it was. I run about 60 lbs pressure. No problem with leakage at the stem as others have reported. Just be sure to remove the thorns from the tires before installing.
