Has doubled the time it takes for my big dog to eat her meals. Was recommended to me because our large-chested dog is at risk for bloat and gulping down food is a risk factor. Am so glad Walmart carries these now because they are expensive in specialty pet stores!
Our last two dogs could of used a bowl like this because they ate way too fast. So now when we got our new lab puppy and i saw this, it was just perfect. She eats like she is starving, three times a day. It's perfect with the rubber bottom that keeps it in place so she can't throw it around. I love it. Thank you
This bowl wasn't very helpful for my Yorkshire Terrier mix who is about 13 lbs. It doesn't really slow him down that much. The bowl might work better for medium size dogs.
