These make both making a shopping list and having an organized list to shop from so easy.

This is by far the best invention ever! It is worth double the price! Everyone invariably gets home from the store forgetting something....no more. Nor do the spouses have any excuse for not buying an essential need or doing that errand. This machine stores your items for days and weeks until someone in the household goes shopping and they just press print and the list prints and the way you go. No longer forgetting those important essentials. Then if you get home you delete all the items except those you could not find while out shopping. Not sure why one reviewer could not get the machine to recognize the word "ice cream". Mine got it the first time. Whats really neat is you can add items that are not in their 5000 word database such as "Wal-Mart". It is the NUMBER 1 staple in my kitchen.

Simple controls provide ease of operation. Good product recognition (slight learning curve required). For those who love useful gadgets. Would rather have display of items by input sequence, not alphabetical order.

Not worth the price at all. It is a great idea but definitely needs some improvements. It has 2000 grocery products stored and when you speak an item it is supposed to recognize the item by voice recognition and create a grocery shopping list for you. For most items I had to say them 3-4 times before it would recognize the item. Most of the time it would bring up wrong choices. Some common items, such as ice cream it would not recognize at all no matter how many times I would speak it. It would take me hours to make a grocery list using this gadget. I did like the printing feature and that it would organize the items by the type of food it was. Way overpriced at $139. I ended up returning it and would not recommend this product to anyone. A key pad with letters should be added to allow you to type an item in if you wanted to or if the product did not recognize the item when spoken.

This is described as a new product. IT IS NOT. It arrived heavily worn and not working correctly. It made the unit very hard to use. In a new condition, I am sure that people would find this item helpful, but this was not in new condition. For example, the buttons were worn to the point where there was no longer any print on them and either didn't work or would be too sensitive and would register two or three presses instead of just one. There are cheaper, used versions of this on Amazon that have pictures that show the product and they seem to be in much better condition than the one I got.
