I would like to say I would use this strap on almost any vehicle or whatever you need to pull it's very strong and you won't worry about breaking or snapping gets the job done. Easy to use and very well made [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I like that it doesn't take up a lot of room. You don't have to stop and roll it up only to have it unroll on the first turn. Is very handy.
I've used this strap many times over the past few months towing cars. The hooks attach very easy to a cars undercarriage . When towing the straps unwind and windup when slowing down. This reduces the sharp impacts compared to towing with a regular rope.
best tow rope ever. used to pull large, dead tree limbs off property. used to pull riding mower out of ditch. the retractable feature is great - no knots or twists to deal with. used to hold in debri in back of john deere utility vehicle
This thing is a life saver! Went off-roading last weekend and one of my buddys blew the front end of his Dodge Ram, and I had to tow him for almost a mile through very rough terrain. When we started the mile journey we snapped every rope we had, and shattered a windshield, but this thing held up great! Wasn't my first choice but ended up being the only choice. Great strap, well worth the price.
I had to use with my wife's AWD flex pulling my truck out of the sand. She's inexperienced with towing/pulling and one thing that often happens with noobs is they run over the line and damage the vehicle or break the line... which would've happened if it hadn't been self adjusting. It removed that inconvenience altogether which was super nice. My 12,000 lb truck made it out, and putting it away was a cinch. Didn't need to wind it up and rubber band it... nope, it wound itself up and is now ready for another adventure. The price was amazing too at less than $20. You can't beat it.
I use this strap to tow my dragster behind my golf car tow car. This is the second one I've purchased. The first one lasted four seasons of regular use. Finally, the housing cracked at one opening because of repeated ground impacts. The tow strap is still fine on my original but the housing is now broken so I'm replacing it. One helpful thing we've done is paint a black line on each end at about 12" from full extension so that we could judge the "pull point" without jerking the car. Anyway, I find that the product works well at a very attractive price.
I own 4 of these, they are great, very compact, keep the line tight, they auto shorten and then lengthen to pull. Great for the trunk or 4-wheeler, for that just in case moment.

Like that it's retractable tow strap and doesn't drag on the ground.
