I received the smoky palette complimentary from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. First of all, the size of the palette is wonderful. I travel with my makeup a lot, and most of my go-to palettes are huge The size of this one save so much room in my makeup bag. The colors are nicely pigmented, and it has a variety of mattes and shimmer shadows The very light matte color could be bit more pigmented, but I honestly don't use that color very often. These eye shadows blend beautifully...even better than my $60 eye shadow palette. The dark colors even make a great eyeliner when using a wet eyeliner brush. I love these little palettes, and I plan to buy more!
As a women of color (dark complexion) usually eye shadow either doesn't have enough pigment (goes on a chalky white) or I have to put alot on just for the color to show. This is the total opposite. A little truly goes a long way. Rarely do I rave about eye shadow or makeup but this is the best!
I received this palette in Smoky free from Influenster.com and Smashbox in a #voxbox!! And I love it!! The colors are pigmented and easy to blend. The thing I love the most is how many looks I can create with this palette. It is also long wearing!! I will buy another one and recommend it to my friends. Even thought I received this palette for free , My review and opinion are my own.
I received this free product from Influenster to test out. I was so excited when I found out I was getting this smashbox cause I always wanted to try this eyes shadow just never got a around to buy it yet. But Influenster sent me one to test out I received the Metallic palette. I love the outside of the palette I love all the shadows that are in side they are every pigment and go on super smooth and last all day.
FIrst of all I have to say that the package of this palette is so freaking AWESOME, I have never seen one like this. Now, about the quality:I got the Smoky Eye Palette and the shades are gorgeous, the pigmentation is insane just with a little bit you can make a whole look!! And it's long lasting, I used to a night out and when I got back home my eyes were exactly like when I left the house. I tested Smashbox for free thanks to Influenster but all they opinions are on my own.
Just bought the Cover Shot Bold palette in store today! after trying the palette in store. It's so pigmented, the colour selection is beautiful, and can create a vast amount of different looks.
I purchased the Ablaze pallet and I am completely in love. The colors are bold, much different than my usual neutrals, but I actually feel really confident and comfortable wearing them. The pigmentation is unreal, and there is literally zero fall-out!!! As you see in my photo, it really isn't as bold as you would expect it to be (which I like), but I also think you could make it more intense if you wanted to. Love love love.
I received a courtesy Influenster VoxBox containing a Smashbox Smoky Palette and a metallic lipstick. I was very happy with the gift because I have always enjoyed the brand and the pigmentation of the shadows and it could not be different this time. The packaging is beautiful, with a super original 3D image. It is compact, perfect for carrying in my purse and the colors are beautiful and very pigmented like all Smashbox products I have ever tried. The colors are easy to match and it is possible to create several looks for the evening, in addition, the classic brown goes well with any look.
I've always been a huge fan of Smashbox products so when I received the Smokey Cover Shot Palette for for testing I was super excited to try it out. It definitely does not disappoint! The colors have a great texture to them and blend amazingly well, which is exactly what I want in a smokey eye palette. I love that it comes with build-able blending colors while also giving you bold colors to create versatile smokey eye looks, making this my new perfect go to travel palette !
The softlight palette has beautiful packaging and the colors are gorgeous, however, they did not show up as pigmented on my melanin skin. The colors are also very soft and easy to apply but I had to apply multiple layers to get any type of pay off. The other downside to the Softlight Palette is that it doesn't have any mattes/transition colors so I used another brand for that. Overall I think I would enjoy one of the other covershot palettes more since the colors are deeper and more pigmented.
