This Hedge Trimmer Does a Great job on my Hedges
Starts, cuts & runs good and I am a 74 year old woman.
This gas hedge trimmer does a great job!
We have been loyal ECHO brand purchasers for years. We sold everything when we moved across country back to Florida, so now we are accumulating necessary gardening equipment. My husband could not pass this deal up when he ran across them on a clearance deal. We don't ordinarily do too many reviews, but we wanted to say how pleased we are with the Snapper Hedge trimmers. They have saved us so much physical labor. We don't have a lot of hedges, but have used them for clearing out mega patches of briers and underbrush on the property. These trimmers have performed well, and finding them at such a great price was only a bonus. We certainly recommend this product for anyone in need of a good pair of trimmers. Took a little getting used to the handle mechanism, but performance outweighs any cons.
Bought this for my husband and he loves it. He said he wished he'd had it years ago.

I read the reviews and researched, this is the number 2 on the list to purchase. I wish I had this a long time ago. The overall operation is great. Cuts great and handles well. Good part is you can lower the hedges a few inches with no problem. It will cut new thick growth; however, not designed for that. This is not a professional grade, it will hold up all day without over heating. Two problems, exhaust and small gas tank. At a particular height the exhaust gets in your face. Refill the gas tank a few time if you cut all day. Engine don't kill until you turn it off. Not as powerful as expected; but, for home use it works great.
the drive system locked up on my fourth hedge bush. walmart replaced it and the replacement seems to be doing ok.
Had trouble starting it from the beginning. My husband was able to start it after much effort. I used it a few minutes and haven't been able to start it since. Nor can my husband. Returned it to Walmart.
Save your money,,took it out of the box,,BROKEN,,,air filter cover is made of thin and i mean thin plastic,,the clip that holds it shut was broken,,,poor design...i know if you are reading this you are considering buying this product,,,,,,DONT DONT DONT
