Super easy to use and does a great job in capturing sound. My son is really into making his own ASMR videos and used this microphone to capture sound for his videos. Microphone seems durable and comes with a clip on (as pictured) which makes use hands free and easy! I do quite a few interviews for research and this will come handy when time comes for me to conduct another interview. Set does come with a small storage bag to keep everything together. Overall, very nice to have for those interested in vlogging or interviewing.
I used to make my own YouTube videos and have ideas for lots more. My son also makes videos and we have been wanting to get one of these to look more professional, have better sound quality and be able to do interviews as well as be able to hear us better when there may be background noises which can cause less good sound quality of the sounds I want in my videos like our voices. On first look of everything, including the instructions, I was actually pleasantly surprised at how easy this was to set up. I also liked the look of everything. The microphone isn't too big, and everything got set up nicely and worked. I'm always worried I will get something and it won't work the way I want. I did notice that there is a very nice pouch to hold everything as well as the zip locking plastic bag this all came in Both very nice to have to keep this stuff safe. So basically you just hook the microphone cords into connector cords so you can have 2 microphones and then hook that connector to the extension cord and that I to your phone. The diagrams in the instructions are easy to read and follow with the drawn out pictures. I'm not super techy, but learning g quickly, so this was nice. Now I'm a pro at these. There is also an adapter for your computer. My son also likes to sing and can now use this to make videos. My daughters love to use it as well and have been trying to use it to interview each other on their videos. I do recommend because it is pretty good quality and easy to set up and use and really relevant to today's technology needs. I did get to try this for free through the Spark review program but the opinions are from my own experiences.
Wow, this was a great buy. It sounds amazing. You can piggy bank the cords and make it 18 1/2 feet. At that distance indoors my phone ‘s my voice was undetectable but same distance with the aid of the mic sounded as if I was 1 foot away. Great for indoor recording so far. I have not tested it out side. Also come with double sided Velcro loops that allows you to keep the cords wrapped up when not in use. Come with a carrying bag which I will change to a hard case so they don't get crushed. I also ordered a more expensive one which was not as long of a cord or better volume. Highly recommend it
I'm planning on starting a podcast. In researching I found out that if you're going to have 2+ people on, this is the most affordable way to go with microphones with still having good quality. I tested them with my husband and one mic is slightly clearer, but make sure you push the plug ins ALL the way because that was my first problem. Anyways, we had our ceiling fan on in the background and the integrity of the sound was not compromised. It pics up your voice even lower on your shirt. Some background noise could be picked up if you have kids running around screaming so I recommend having a quiet setting for recording. Honestly if you are on a budget but want a podcast with 2 people plus regular guests you could get two of these and plug one in on different phones and just record at the same time then put both tracks onto garage band. That'd be 4 mics available which is awesome. One thing that isn't the products fault but iPhones, is you need a converter to plug it in to anything after 6s! Kind of blows not having that but what do you do!! Also ps and s's sound great because of the cover over the mics. Love that there are also extension cords so you don't need your recording device right in front of you!
I received the Lavalier Lapel Microphone 2-Pack Complete Set from the sparks reviewer program. I have been needing a good quality microphone for various projects and my daughter's wedding is coming up and we wanted to be able to record and actually hear them when they say their vows. With the camera so far away, I was worried that it wouldn't capture their voices. Luckily this has extension cords for each mic. The set comes with two lapel microphones with very sturdy clips, 2 extension cords, one Y connector adapter, one 4 to 3 pin adapter, and one storage pouch. It also comes with extra foam covers for each mic. I've only tested this mic using my phone and laptop and not yet with my camera as I need new batteries. So far on my laptop, it did produce background noise and my voice sounded a bit distorted and raspy. It was clearer on my phone as long as the mic not right up at my mouth. So using it on the lapel is the perfect position for this mic. When moving however, it had the sound of rustling so you need to take that into consideration for whatever project you want to do. Overall, I think as long as we can keep the mics stable during the ceremony, these will do just fine. For my other projects, I am sure they will work nicely.

I do some recording through my phone, and this set is perfectly fine; it's handy easy to carry-on anywhere, anytime with the storage pouch it all game in. This Lavalier Lapel Microphone 2-Pack Complete by Solid includes 2 Lavalier Mics with clips and wind muffs, the clips is made of metal very durable and robust connected just beneath the Mic with the quality of the sounds I can give it a perfect score its clear no more static and buzz with a wind muff included audio clarity is satisfactory. It has Y-Connector adaptor to use for 2 set of Mic plus two extra wind muff and two extension cors which measures about 80 inches each so its long enough to move with ease and spacing with the interviewer or interviewee. It also included with one adaptor the 4 to 3 PIN adaptor, but if you're using an Apple gadget that uses the Lightning cable, you need to out extra dollars cause it's not included which makes me just scored it a total of 4. So anything compatible with the 3.5mm jack can be used with these sets which makes it universal like desktop PC, DSLR camera, GoPro, Smart Phones, and Camcorders and many more uses for Vlogging, Youtuber or DJ's.
Overall the microphones were a very simple and easy to use design, they are a plug in and use deal and with a little bit of audio adjustments they sounded very professional. It did take a lot of tweaking in the software to make it sound right but the outcome was well worth it. The sound was very bright and clear and made recording music very easy, the carrying case was very well made and the adapters for all situations was very nice to have. All in all, these are very good mics for starting 2 person podcasts or hooking up to an acoustic guitar to record music. I was also very happy to see all the parts that were in the description were in the box and all were high quality cords, and I also liked that not only could you plug the microphones into a computer you can plug them in to a recorder, a phone and a video camera and the audio was all the same high quality, this product was definitely a bang the buck. I would definitely recommend this to beginners getting into recording audio because of they're easy to use design and many easy to use parts. This is a very nice product.
I received my Lavalier Microphone Set form the Spark Reviewer Program. I thought my son would enjoy using this complete set for streaming on Youtube. This is a 2 pack set that comes with 2 microphones, 2 extension cords, Y connector, 2 extra wind muffs, 4 to 3 pin adaptor, and a storage pouch. Which makes it easy to travel with. My son not only used it on his gaming console but also tried it on my Smartphone. All you need to do is plug the mic into your phone, we did not have to do anything in our settings, just start talking. My son said this mic set was simple to use, and had good quality. We're still trying out different ways of using our Lavalier Mic Set, so far so good! When his friends come over they are also able to use one of the mics. He is definitely having fun with it. We would both recommend!
This item is very handy when doing voice overs and YouTube videos. It took me a while to use it because I needed the adapter to go to my iPhone. I have the iPhone 8 and do a lot on it. I was able to keep all of the piece together because the Lavalier Lapel Mic comes with a carrying case. It comes with an extra mic and extension so that you can record with someone.
They really need to include instructions. If not instructions then at least let the buyer know which devices it does and/or doesn't work with. I tried to use it with several computers and phones and the mics wouldn't work. The devices included Apple, Galaxy, and Dell. Tried the adopter included, still nothing. Even went online and one blogger made some kind of bypass box, that's having to do too much. Forget it! Very disappointed.
