It's kind of bulky but it's worth it and you get accustomed. It's awesome for comfort n light blockage and the mp3 cord is awesome I play my pandora in it through my iPhone
I put a book from my nano on to sleep with barely got into the first chapter. I slept so sound and woke up without a single ache or pain in my body. They are a little heavy at first but my body adjusted quickly. Very sturdy built and not sure about washing would recommend checking that due to the wires.
I bought this product for my husband. He is a very sensitive to light and needs music to sleep. It completly blocks the sun (we are bartenders and sleep during the day) and he can't hear the tv that I need to go to sleep. One bad thing is the fabric, it's a magnet for pet hair. Also it's not washable, I used a wash rag and cleaned it and let it dry before he used it. So it's a great product just keep the lint brush by it if you have a pet.
Comfy, blocks light. Was able to open my eyes while wearing it. I am a side sleeper and though the product looks bulky it felt fine. Worked with my iPad. The only negative is the cord is sort of short I'm not sure where to put the iPad while I sleep. If I put It on the night stand and turn over, it might get pulled off. I bought this product for a red eye flight I will be taking and I hope it reaches the plug in the plane
This mask is big, bulky & somewhat warm just like other reviewers have stated but I am still very happy with it because of the cd player plug in with earphones built in. This was the only sleep mask that I could find that had this feature & that is what I was looking for. Because of the bulkiness it takes a little time to get comfortable if your head is sideways on a pillow. Being able to drift off to sleep with built in speakers is wonderful for people who have trouble sleeping. Would be be excellent if they could make it less bulky but until then I will keep these for only $12.
I love that you hook your ipod to it, and it has really good sound. It's very comfortable to wear and doesn't sit right up against your eyes. It definitely shuts out all light, which really helps me sleep. The only problem is, because the material is memory foam and has the cover on it, I wake up a few hours later drenched in sweat! That never happens to me. Also, because of the material, my dogs hair sticks to it bad enough to where every time I need to use it, I have to use a lent roller. Other than the sweating and dog hair, I like the product.
I love the little pocket to store the headphone plug and cord in. I had similar ones that were more comfortable but the cord was easily destroyed. These seem sturdier and better designed so although I slightly prefer the design of the other ones, I'm quite happy with these. The speakers are nice and loud too, so i can hear the music even if I'm not wearing it.
It's a bit bulkier than I expected but it's still really comfortable and very effective.
PROS: - I loved how it COMPLETELY BLOCKED any sunlight. You had to adjust it once in a while. - it really, really completely blocks out the sunlight. CONS: - The headphones don't have the skull candy quality. - The jack won't fit through my iPhone case. - You can't wash it. It is a bummer you can't wash it in the machine because of the headphones. - the black felt fabric makes it warm when directly facing the sun for a long period of time.
As other reviewers have stated, the mask is very thick and heavy. It was fairly comfortable though, so I kind of liked it. However when I plugged in my phone I automatically heard some static through the music. If you wiggle the cord and keep your phone or iPod still then it works fine. If that's how it's acting now I'm afraid how worse it will get in the future. I don't want to go through those antics to get a clear sound. Also the cord was very very short. I probably would have over looked it if I didn't have issues with the static. I guess for the price, you pay for what you get...but this puppy is going back. Would rather pay a little extra more for a quality item.
