More impressed with this than I am with the PS4!

I got this and the PS4 at the same time. The PS4 is a capable game machine....but it can't do hardly anything else. The PS3 could do far more than the PS4 can when it was released and buries it today with regard to it's functionality, which is pretty ridiculous frankly. However, the PSVita can do WAY more than the PSP ever could. You can't play it on your TV, but that's probably the only thing the PSP has over it. Literally everything else the PSP could do the PSVita does better. The Vita also has a built-in camera (forward and backwards facing). There was a camera attachment for the PSP, but I don't think it was ever released in America and it didn't work very well. The web browser on the PSP left a LOT to be desired, but the Vita's web browser works great. It's even better than the PS4's, which is weird. You can even use the rear touchpad to scroll through pages which feels very natural. One sort of frustrating thing is that only some of the games you bought for the PSP and PS3 will work on it. The PS1 games are a mixed bag. Some work, some don't. But again, NONE of them work on the PS4. The touch screen is fantastic and the OLED screen is gorgeous. I'm glad I jumped and got this one before it is gone because Sony is going to replace the Vita with a new model with a bit cheaper construction, including replacing the screen with a standard LCD one.
