I received this item through the spark review program and I have to say I love it! It comes with soothing sounds such as ocean which I love and also works a bluetooth speaker which my 3 year old loves! he knows how to switch it to the bluetooth option, that's how easy it is to use! Love how resilient it is as well as both my baby and toddler get a hold of it.
I got the SoundBub, Ollie the Owl, white noise/ Bluetooth speaker and just love it! It has an ocean sort of sound and another sound like rain(white noises) that is preinstalled on it, along with Bluetooth connection that you can play music etc. of your choice through it's speaker. You can download the free app software(VoiceShare) if you'd like to record and share voice messages. This is fairly small which is nice because it is so portable. It's made of softish rubber or silicone sort of material along with some very smooth, soft fabric. It's supposed to be safe if baby happens to chew on it. I like that it has the 30, 60, 90 min. timer and also a continuous play mode. It comes with a c-ring like loop built into it which allows you to easily hook it onto crib rail, stroller, car seat etc. or even just lay it down where you want. Push on the belly of it and wah lah, it comes on. This has a cord with it in order for you to recharge the lithium battery. This is a MUST HAVE in our home because it drowns out all of the other abrupt noises that may disturb a sleeping baby or even an adult for that matter.
My daughter loves this! Easy to use and connect via Bluetooth. The SoundBub comes with three sounds: waves, rain, and a soothing stream. You can switch from sound to sound by clicking on the owl's belly. Sound is clear and can be easily adjusted by a side dial. By switching to connect via Bluetooth, you can play music off your phone for your little one. I've played lullabies off YouTube for my daughter and she loves it. She'll just walk around carrying the SoundBub or I'll hang it off her crib. I have not had the chance to download the app that is available to record your voice and have it play through the speaker, but from the instructions, it seems easy to do. My daughter loves holding on to the speaker, and because of this, I have had to wipe it down - but this is easy to do. Overall a definite recommendation. I wish this type of speaker was around with my three older children!
Not only is this cute and portable, it has many great features that make it a smart purchase. Since it charges with a USB port, there is no need to worry about purchasing batteries. Push the belly to turn on or change white sounds. You can also stream from your phone so baby can hear music. Download the free VoiceShare App and baby can listen to messages or stories read by loved ones. It fits easily in the diaper bag, so it's convenient for on the go families and even has a ring to clip to a stroller or car seat. The buttons to turn it on or select the timer options are small, but easy to maneuver. The volume dial does make a clicking sound when adjusted, so if baby is a light sleeper you will want to adjust it before she is asleep. I love this product!
This is a portable bluetooth speaker and white noise maker. Rechargeable and has a cool fun design to choose from for a kid's/baby's room. It is easy to operate. The soothing sounds provided are pleasant to listen to. The volume is adjustable and easy to use. This is really a great gift for a baby shower or your own kids/grandkids, especially for those fun grandkids sleep overs.
This is a really nice portable device. It plays various white noise sounds including rain waterfalls etc.. You can use pre-recorded sounds or use it as a Bluetooth speaker to play music and so on. You can also download the VoiceShare app The has various stories and sing-alongs that you could include yourself and or your family. Don't forget if you download the VoiceShare app, on the back of the booklet is a product code so that you can redeem free content in the mobile app. Overall this is a really light weight fun device to entertain a small child or even an adult. It's quite the joy to see the happiness on a child's face when the voice he recognizes read him a story that is pre-recorded. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for something different.
Bedtime was becoming a nightmare, trying to get the kids to settle down and be ready to sleep. This SoundBub by WavHello - portable White Noise Machine and Bluetooth Speaker is now a favorite of mine and my children! Included features: + By far my favorite feature is the Bluetooth connectivity. I can hook the SoundBub up to my phone and play a variety of music depending on the mood and activity level. I can play action songs, sleepy songs, educational songs -- even some groovy tunes for me. The SoundBub is easy to connect and does not require any app or installation hardware to work. + Great battery life. I played the SoundBub for 2 hours straight and still had battery left. I haven't yet figured out the battery limit, but I'm super impressed already. + The SoundBub includes timer settings for limited playtime (30 minutes, 60 minutes, 90 minutes, and continuous play). Very nice feature, especially if you're using the music to break up activities (reading time, exercise time, sleep time, etc.) + The SoundBub has two - well three - settings; white noise, off, and Bluetooth. It has a little light (white for white noise, blue for Bluetooth) to indicate which setting is currently active. + There's a volume controller for louder or softer play. + The center of the SoundBub can be pressed and change the white noise options (ocean waves, rain, or flowing water) or turn the music on and off while in Bluetooth mode. + Charger cable is included, but it also works with standard Android/Kindle plugs. + The plastic ring attached to the SoundBub does a great job propping up the speaker or securing the speaker to a variety of things. +The SoundBub is lightweight, soft, and easy to handle This is such a great tool to have, even as my baby gets older. Already my younger children love it and we basically use it every day at our house, outside, and on the go. Love it!!
This thing is cute and so versatile. You can hang it from something or fold the hanger down and set it on your nightstand. Push the button on the owl's belly and it plays what they call "white noise". You can choose from ocean waves, rain or a babbling brook. It has a timer you can set so it won't go all night and burn out the battery. You can also pair it with your phone or other device to play music. Directions say you can set it to play a person's recorded voice talking or singing, but I have not tried that feature. It's advertised for a baby but I sometimes use it for myself to help me sleep. Great for travel since it is small and lightweight. Comes with a cord to recharge the lithium battery.
This sound bub little Ollie Owl is pretty cute and entertaining. It is made to either lull your baby to sleep with the built in white sound of ocean waves, a flowing stream or rain on the roof. The ocean wave is a bit intrusive as the sound gets a little intense with the waves crashing, but the other two sounds are very soothing. You can set the duration of the sounds for thirty, sixty and ninety minutes or continuous play. Unit measures about four inches by four inches and has a loop hanger built in that will hang on a crib, playpen etc. to keep out of baby's reach as it is not a toy but fun to look at never the less. It is USB rechargeable by plugging in to PC or by plugging in to a wall receptacle with an adapter (not included). It has led indicator letting you know when battery is getting low (blinking red) and when charged (fully green). The greatest feature is that you can pair Ollie Owl to a Bluetooth device and stream the content you choose to the owl. Everything from Beethoven to Metallica and children's books in between. Highly recommend this friendly Owl to everyone, and even for an adult, as the sounds are very soothing, and it also comes as Bella the Bunny and Benji the Bear.
The SoundBub was super easy to set up and the unit itself works great. It took a little over an hour to charge using the USB cable that is included. There are multiple features to help children (and adults, surely) listen to stories, playlists, live radio, and then to go to sleep with “white noise”. At the top of the unit is the On/Off/Bluetooth switch. If you move it to On, you go through three choices of “white noise” by pressing the “belly” of the SoundBub. There is a timer button on the side of the unit to choose 30, 60, 90, or continuous play. The Bluetooth option was easy to connect; just slide the switch to Bluetooth, turn on your iPhone, go to your Bluetooth settings, and SoundBub is already there for you to connect. This feature is my favorite, as you can play any audio apps on your phone through the SoundBub. It instantly played my streaming classical radio station and my audio books. A neat feature, if I could have got it to work, is the ability to read a story, in your own voice, record it and have it play to your child. I downloaded the free app, selection a story to read, recorded it, and got the “Successful” checkmark at the end. I went back to the app and got a pop-up, New App Version Required. I hit OK, but I couldn't download the new version. I went to the Library on the SoundBub app and got a pop-up that “something went wrong, please contact the administrator”, which I haven't done yet. I tried selecting one of the “Sing” options already in the library, and got the “Something Went Wrong” pop-up again. There are options in the app to record sing-alongs, telling your own story (Talk), create playlists ($7.99 per album in the “Shop” section), and to invite people to share the app with your child. I did not proceed until I get time to “contact the administrator” and figure out the problem with the app. Even without the app, this is a nice little device, especially the Bluetooth feature.
