It was so easy to set up and is awesome no more standing box spring lol
Bought if a couple of weeks ago for a spare bedroom. It was easy to assemble and do require 2 ppl as directions stated. . We already had the headboard. And am using it with existing box spring and mattress however no boxsprong is required but you would need a thick pay tress to get a good height.
Easy to build and sturdy. Built 2 on the same day. Ordered 3 in total, everyone's content.
It's okay for the price, but the end edging board has blunt ends that are unpainted and sharp edged... Not all the screw holes lined up, so I needed a power drill to finish building it. Shipping was reasonable, but it was outsourced to a company I'd never heard of and there was no guarantee for delivery date. When they called me and asked if they could meet me around 4:15pm on Friday, I waited till 7 until I gave up. They bed didn't arrive until the Tuesday following.
Upon receiving my item I noticed the bottom right corner of the box extremely damaged. I opened the box and laid out all the parts. The molding for the front of the bed was cracked and the wood split. I called South Shore and a new part was sent. Overall the wood is really thin and cheap.
The bed came on time..But it was damaged i had no choice but to use it like it was
The molding cracked within the first month of usage, and then later within three months, there is a giant hole. My mother-in-law weighs less than 120 pounds, and she's the only person who sleeps on the bed. This is a safety issue, she almost broke her knees when falling into the hole. The molding is very thin and of bad quality. The customer service is very disappointing, they only accept return within one month, with replacement parts, it's the same issue. So for your own safety, do not buy.
1 BOARD WAS BEOKEN. I had tried Black duct tape to tape that board together. now 2 days later the middle seem to cumble i bought his bed for my 16 y/o Son. I took it back to Walmart a day later
I just recently bought this frame. It came in terrible condition. A board was broke, paint was scratched and chipped, also they painted a board on the opposite side! It was cheaply made and is not worth the money spent on buying it. I hope to get a full return immediately!
2 month since the purchase passed. The mattress supporting boards are completely destroyed. They are made of very weak particle board. They are not rated for a person sleeping on it. This platform bed is for decoration purposes only! Do not buy!!! Look at the picture. I just tried to sleep on it! No funny business even !!!
