Nice looking bed. Easy to put together... did it by myself in a couple of hours. Not quite as low to the ground as a platform bed. Looks great with the matching South Shore Gravity Headboard with built-in nightstands! Adds a nice, updated, modern look to the bedroom!
Assembly was very easy and only took me 3-4 hours max. It requires two people for assembly, but I did it alone and had no issues. It seems like a sturdy enough bed. Its perfect for me. Unable to add photos.
I was very unsure about ordering my platform bed off the Internet. I was actually scared to death because I had seen a lot of mixed reviews about missing parts and pieces or broken pieces upon delivery from other companies. I am 100% satisfied with my purchase. All it took was a little common sense and an extra person for assistance putting together. Nothing missing nothing broken. Highly recommend cymax.
Great looking bed frame, easy to assemble and fits in well with modern decor.
The material are made of compress wood. One of the center boards was chip off during shipping, since will it be covered by the mattress I didn't care to return the whole thing. Noticed the center boards were not nail or screw to anything, I feel it might shift since there a little gap at the edges. Took several hours to assemble the platform. The design of the platform doesn't give me a feeling of sturdy made. Overall, it is a decent item for the price I'm paying.
We bought this platform bed and put it together. Instructions were very hard to follow. Finally, got it together. Two weeks later the slats were separating from the legs. My husband installed a hinge on both side of legs and slats. So far it is holding. Manufacturer should have a bolt or screw system going into legs. Parts we put in were to small to hold all the weight of boards etc.
Purchased this and for the price paid I expected way better quality. It's pressed particle board. I'm almost afraid to even set my mattress on it let alone sleep on it. It "looks" nice with look being the operative word. Very disappointed. The directions are very difficult to follow as none of the different parts are labeled and you have a sheet that is supposed to show a picture which most can match every screw provided. You have to scrutinize to try and determine which part is the one you actually need. Took between four and five hours just for this and no head board.
This bed was put together properly and reinenforced three times but continued to break under the weight of 115lbs.
