I've recently bought the full South Shore SoHo Bedroom from Walmart and I have to say that I am totally happy with it.it looks very nice, it fills up the space, good price, good appearance, it looks elegant.... Only one thing that I have to say. When I was trying to put it together, some of the holes that make the headboard and the platform join, were made in the wrong places or they were not matching. The same problem I had with the holes in the biggest pieces of the platform because some of them were missing. Fortunately I had somebody helping me with this work and he brought a special machine, so that holes were made where missing or where were they were wrong. This was not really a very big issue. And again, one more thing...I do not know what kind of spray I should use on it because I used one bought from Walmart , for furniture, and it left very bad streaks on it...I had to clean it with water after that.... Altogether, I am happy with my purchase and I strongly recommend it.
I got this to go with the matching dresser. You will definitely need 2 people to attach it to the dresser!
All in all the product is as advertised. The color is exactly like the picture, it's well made and looks fairly stylish. One minor complaint would be that the back of the mirror does not have pre-drilled holes to attach the brackets if you want to put this on a dresser. Not a huge deal but it makes for some rough screwdriver work, a drill would take care of that easily. It took about five minutes to put together and comes pretty much assembled. Btw, if you do want to put this on a dresser you probably should do it with two people because it's a little heavy and can be awkward to manipulate with one person.
My 16 year old son just redid his bedroom himself, and this is the set he chose. It's not top notch quality, but you can't expect that when you pay this price! It was very easy to put together, and not extremely heavy. It all looks quite sharp in the room.
We ordered the dresser as well as the mirror and both are very nice. We are happy with both and would order it again. Didn't take long to put together and woud highly recommend!
very nice looking mirror and frame, had 2 problems with it though: 1. could not be mounted on the 3 drawer dresser which it was supposed to be able to according to its description and the drawers (it only fits with 6 drawer dressers) 2. didnt have another option with it,like to be wall mounted as it didnt have any hooks on the back. you have to get them yourself. knowing this I would still have ordered it as it is a very good size mirror and good for its price
it's only been a week since we got it and so far so goodb, BUT I couldn't put the top part together because there were screws missing. I already called and asked for them to send me. Just waiting on it...
It nice but when I screw it on to the dresser it's not steady it lean forward.
I bought this mirror as well as the other peices of the bedroom group. The mirror was the only easy assembly. The drawers are hard to pull in and out and the whole thing was tough to put together . Would never use this set in an every day situation. Truly only good to look at.
I bought this as a bundle package with the matching dresser. However the mirror does not attach to the dresser at all it only has a wall anchor with 1 screw that shorter than my pinky finger that is "supposed" to hold this heavy mirror in place on the wall. when i purchased it the picture had the mirror attached to the dresser and made no mention that there only a wall anchor. However the mirror is actually really nice and well made so i just went to home depot and bought 2 6ft 2x2s and screwed them on vertically to support the mirror on the dresser and it looks fine. overall very nice mirror just wish it had wood supports to attach it to the dresser instead of a wall anchor.
