These dressers are cute, sturdy, and were pretty easy to put together, though be warned the holes aren't screwed completely straight - they don't all line up. But, the dressers went together fine anyway, and I love them!
Looks great! Very happy with the purchase. Easy to put together, just know you will need a drill to screw in the knobs despite what the instructions say. Pay close attention to the funny looking silver "screws". Make sure the arrow points to the open hole on the part where you will have to screw another part in.
I built this myself (female, young adult) and though it took some time to build, I thoroughly enjoyed the handiness of it, once constructed it was a very sturdy and reliable drawer-chest and I would recommend getting this.
Looks nice for a little girls room! I was worried reading the reviews about how people were receiving theirs with broken pieces but this was actually packed very well, similar to ikea style packing. Very easy to put together. I was skeptical about the plastic drawer slides but they work good. Hope they hold up. It is a pain putting the five drawers together though. Take my advise and use a power drill your hands will thank you the next day.
We used gorilla glue when building . Great super sturdy when i purchased it was $64!!! Winning i also changed the knobs !!!
Took about 1hour to build this by myself and seven months pregnant. Instuctions are very easy to follow and once build it's a very sturdy dresser. Draws are not as shallow as expected but will work for infant clothes. When arrived at home, package was mishandled which caused a bit of a scratch on one of the woods. I would definitely recommend to a friend.
A few pieces where missing the know for example and some scews for one dresser. Its beatiful over all its almoost finished. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Found this product easy to assemble and all parts were well labeled. Appears to be fairly sturdy. I am using this in a guest room, but do not know if it would withstand day to day use in a child's room. All in all very happy with this product and the quality for the price.
This is the WORST dresser I have ever purchased!!! It was purchased off Wal-Mart. Com. Wal-Mart won't back the product. South Shore furniture Customer service refuses to replace or credit us for a dresser that has fallen apart since day one! Apparently they only give you 30 days to return and don't guarantee their product. The back of 3 of the drawers came off within the first month. The front support won't stay on. The side broke off a piece where the dowel hole is. The last thing was the screw pulled out of the inside rail making it impossible to fix. I'm tired of glueing this dresser back together. Oh ya we received the dresser March 5, 2019 and it was for my foster child. I will never buy from this company again!
I put the chest together and it literally started falling apart. The drawer fronts after tightening just pulled right off one drawer. The drawers didn't glide they were cluncky. I have put a lot of furniture together having 3 kids over the past 9 years. I returned as soon as I could get a box. So don't throw your box away until you have time to test it out for yourself.
