This is the best flavor cause its the oringinal my evidence for tht is that it tastes good and in my mind i qout ''this is so good'' my conclusion is the oringanal flavor of spam is the best
My family enjoys Spam with rice and eggs. This time I wanted to try the Spam Grilled Cheese sandwich. OMG, was it tasty. The Spam was browned and crisp on the edges, with the melted cheese and grilled toast, very tasty. Next time I might add a fried egg. Yummy.
It's SPAM. What else need to be said. There are so many different ways to prepare it. Dice them up, scrambled an egg and mix it with rice, a TBSP of oyster sauce and BAM! Delicious SPAM fried rice. Put them inside rice and wrap it with nori and you get bomb SPAM sushi or SPAM musubi. Slice them and add them in between 2 slices of bread and you got a SPAM sandwich. The taste is great. Definitely not something that you can eat alone considering how salty that would be, but with rice, it's great. I will always have SPAM around if there's nothing in the fridge and i'm just too lazy to cook a meal. Received this for free in exchange for writing this review. It's actually good and super easy to whip up a delicious meal just by including SPAM. Remember, eat in moderation. Too much of anything is bad.
If there is one thing that every Asian American child can count on having in common it is growing up with spam, eggs, and rice as a classic comfort meal. Spam is probably the only meat I will eat out of a can to this day, and it is solely because it proves to be dependable, consistent in flavor and texture, and extremely versatile in cooking. I also like how they have started to come out with new packaging. I would never be able to use up the regular size cans in time but now that smaller packaging options are so much more individual-cooking friendly. Be aware that it can get salty! I would probably get the low sodium next time.
When i tried spam i thought it would be bad but when i tasted it i felt a rush of adrenaline and farted the loudest fart ive ever farted and thanks to spam i cured my constipation
This product was given to me as part of a promotion in return I am giving an honest review. I was first introduced to Spam as a young girl in Girl Scouts and we used in on our cook outs and I loved it then and still love it now. I have introduced to my own family as they were growing up and used it in various recipes. Both my husband and myself enjoyed the sandwich we both did find it a little salty, with Spam already being salty and adding the cheese just made it more so. I think if you want to make this sandwich use the low sodium Spam with low sodium cheese I also would add a rice red tomato maybe beefsteak and I would stick it right between the cheese and the bread so the cheese warms and melts all over the tomato YUM
I was happy to get the chance to try Spam for free for writing this review. I have been eating Spam since I was a child so this brings back a lot of fond memories. I love to just pan fried it and eat it as a sandwich or chop it up to make scrambled eggs. Nowadays, I use it to make musubi and it's always a hit with everyone. It's so flavorful that you don't need to add any other seasoning to it.
I have tried Spam as a component of entrées and appetizers when I go out to eat. So I decided to try it for breakfast with eggs and a moon cake. You get the salt and sweet for breakfast. This Spam was made with too much salt. That was all I could taste. Even the soaked up the salt. If this had a liwer salt content it would have been a home run.
I had never tried Spam before this campaign and really just knew it from the stereotypical "mystery meat" reputation. I'm trying to eat more healthy foods so I was pretty shocked at the nutritional facts. It's something you would need to eat only as a "cheat meal" if you are trying to maintain a healthy diet. That being said if you fry it up and mix it in with eggs it was pretty good! I think I'll stick with bacon or sausage though.
I did not get what I ordered. I ordered 4 of the singles and I get 4 cans of SPAM. I get the singles for my sons lunch. I specifically said no SUBSTITUTION.
