As a mother of a child who needed occupational therapy for 2 years, this product is a wonderful addition to all households. The sorting mechanism means that the child must hold the magnetic pen and very carefully sort the marbles. My daughter, age 4, absolutely loves it but it certainly can be used by those younger or older. It is durable and colorful. I love the different animals on the front because it's very engaging for young kids. This should be a staple toy for every child!
As a parent, I definitely recommend the Magnetic Color and Counting Maze by Spark Creat Imagine toy for my toddler. This is a magnetic sorting puzzle board with 8 animal friends and assorted colored magnetic balls. It comes with an attached magnetic “pencil” that lets kids guide the colored balls to the open spaces, which helps their motor skills and at the same time, teaches them counting. This board encourages sorting, number coordination, and color recognition. Recommended age is 18 months and up. My toddler enjoyed playing with this board and I love gifting this as birthday or Christmas gifts as well. Recommend!
This magnetic sorting and counting toy is perfect for home or travel. I love how it’s not only educational but also fun and how everything is self contained so that pieces don’t get lost. Great for kids actually ages 1 year and up. Teaches counting, colors and hand eye coordination as one uses tge magnetic wand to get the little self contained magnetic balls from one point to another. This also teaches little ones the animals and is very bright and colorful. It also teaches kids how to sort and move things from point A to B. We’ve created our own games like find all the Blue Balls and put as many as you can by the Dog, Elephant, etc. Because it’s totally self contained it’s perfect to occupy and teach young children while in a car or plane or at a restaurant. Anywhere you need to occupy a child’s mind and is a great fun and educational distraction.
No batteries, noises or lights - and my children spend a lot of time with it. Basically a combo of magnet and maze play, both winners in a child's world. The maze is a nice balance with easy to more complicated that fits an age range without frustration. Well made/sturdy with a clever latch to keep the balls stored.
The Spark Magnetic Sorting Puzzle is a fun, great way for your child to get better with hand coordination. My kids have a lot of fun doing this! I even find myself at times doing it too! It's actually a lot of fun! The magnet on the wand is very strong, so it's easy to move the balls around. It teaches colors and animals too. It's made of good quality. It's cute and helpful. I recommend this product.
This is a vibrant, fun toy. It is great for all ages over 2 in my opinion, though my 1 year old loves it without knowing how to use it. The colors pop and it's fun to count and move them into place. It's well made so the balls won't be coming out any time soon. It is making counting to 10 more fun for us. I will say it's tight turns so sometimes very difficult to maneuver the balls and put them back. I also wish that it went to 20 since those are unique numbers.
Durable, but not interesting for very long. My toddler enjoyed it for a few times, sorting the colors as it is intended with this toy, but got bored quite quickly. She's not a kiddo on a device, so that's not the issue. The magnet pen is great, the product is well-made, and I will bring it back out now and then since she does engage for some minutes at a time.
Fun game for kids. Reminds me of the Wooly Willy toy from 50 years ago, but this has a purpose. It’s actually very challenging, I think it said 18+ months, but I would be amazed if an 18 month old could do this. But all in all very good training tool for soft hands, precise work.
The Spark Magnetic Sorting Toy is a great educational toy that encourages creativity and problem-solving for kids. My daughter likes the colors of the animals and how easy it is to sort them. The toy is well-constructed and features a variety of colorful, magnetic pieces that are fun to play with. The only downsides are that the magnet stick on the string can fall off easily and that it is a bit of a pain to get the magnets back to the starting spot once sorted, which made the toy lose a star. Although it can be a bit frustrating, the toy still provides a lot of fun.
This keeps my two year old very occupied. He does not play with many toys for longer than 10 minutes but he played with this for over an hour today. Only bad thing i would say is the magnet in the pen is not very strong and has troublw grabbing the balls.
