I see commercials for an expensive paper towel that stretches and can be rinsed and reused multiple times. That's not what I look for in a paper towel. Why would I need one that stretches?? And if I'm going to rinse and reuse, it will be my cotton dishcloth. Sparkle and find it to be an adequate paper towel which does what it is supposed to. I used it to cook bacon in the microwave, it absorbed the bacon grease, and I threw it away. I used a piece to pick-up a cat mess, and trashed it. Because it is perforated to cleanly tear smaller sizes, I've used it for minor spills, and as a hankie and napkin. In all cases it performed as I needed it to. Bottom line is Sparkle does what a paper towel should do at an affordable price.
I am very impressed with these paper towels, and the value is awesome. I tried these towels out on a number of different messy jobs, everything from windows to basic spills and also some light duty scrubbing, and they have held up well. I am also a big fan of the "Pick-A-Size" style of paper towels, it saves you a fair amount of money by using less sheets. The feel and texture of these towels is more "paper" like compared to the higher priced brands who tend to be a bit on the softer side, but I do not mind, it still gets the job done and they are way better priced which means I'm saving money.
I received the Sparkle Pick-A-Size Big Roll Paper Towels, I was greatly surprised how thick the rolls looked. Sparkle paper towels are not as thick as Bounty paper towels but they do get the job done. One great thing about the paper towels being thinner is they don't leave lint when you clean windows or mirrors. I do love the pick a size because sometimes you don't need a whole paper towel. They absorb and soak water well. I cleaned my kitchen marble counter and it didn't leave any lint are streaks. I also used these paper towels to clean the bathroom sink and do dusting around the house. The big pack of paper towels definitely save you money and you be at the store buying paper towels for a while. I really love that you can get a product for great price. I would recommend anyone who wants a quality paper towel for a cheap price.
Wow - what a wonderful product. It is perfect for our home - now my husband doesn't have to use the whole roll - just kidding. It is just the right size for those small wipe ups and for use in the microwave. Just think of all the trees that are being saved!!! Sparkle makes a great products and I am so glad they are manufacturing the pick-a-size paper towel. You cannot go wrong with purchasing this towel - whether you need a bigger size or a small sheet it is all on one roll.
we are a family of 5 so i always need to buy things like this in bulk and this size package is perfect! i love that i can find them without having to drive out to the club store. when it comes to paper towels all i want is a good basic paper towel that gets the job at hand done and this does that very well. these clean up spills and even wet are a good strength! when i need it for cleaning glass it leaves behind no lint at all! and the fact that they are "pick-a-size" means that we can tear off just what you need so there is no waste at all! when comparing prices to other "big brands" Sparkle is cheaper and yet you don't feel like you have bought an inferior product at all.
These paper towels are very good, strong and durable. They are very absorbent, they don't fall apart when wet. They have thirst pockets which allow them to be more absorbent, stronger and much easier to clean up spills. They leave no mess behind. The big rolls last a lot longer than normal sized rolls. The select a size comes in handy and very convenient to use depending on the size of the spill. It allows you to choose what you need to get the job done. All in all, these paper towels, I strongly recommend.
These Sparkle paper towels with thirst pockets come in 16 rolls which consist of 95 sheets each and every two rolls are individually wrapped, which is a great quality as they wont roll off the shelves and will not get dusty in a pantry room. These paper towels come in plain white color and they are definitly are nothing like " Bounty" brand or even "Great Value" brand of paper towels. They have much cheaper and thinner feel to them and are just not as soft and fluffy. So in order to try out how good they are i decided to put them to a test, in fact almost same one as in "Sparkle" paper towel commercial. So i poured about 3 tablespoons of cranberry juice on the top of my counter and took just one sheet of the towel to wipe the mess off. And... it did not do the trick, there were still plenty of cranberry juice to pick up, so i had to use another sheet in order to clean up my mess. So to tell you the truth, the commercial does not do a justice as it does not show the truth. so i gave this product 4 out of 5 star rating as you definitly need more than just one sheet of the paper towel in order to pick up the mess. In fact if you have a large spill or a big mess to pick up you will probably end up using the whole roll, as they just dont soak up as much liquid. The paper towels are good but not as good as " Bounty" or even Walmart brand that i usually buy - "Great Value".
With this big pack you don't have to have a large family to need it. Inside are 16 big rolls, 2 per pack. This makes it easy to to take the smaller packs to your camp house, out on a picnic, keep some in the shop/garage, or craft room. Have a roll in the bathroom for drying hands. Keep them in your vehicle, a must if you have kids or just eat on the go. Also handy for checking the oils. After cutting up chicken and then frying it up late and tired, there was a big mess. And I didn't need many to soak up the oil from the fried chicken. These towel easily cleaned it up without falling apart. Just used my favorite cleaner and 3 towels to clean the top of my old freezer. These great towels can hold about an ounce of liquid, then wring the out and absorb more. They are not as soft as a high priced paper towel and slightly larger than some select a size brands. But that really made no difference to me.
These are thick and strong and hold up to multiple wipes and wrings, and the price is good per roll, HOWEVER, the pick-a-size sheets are too large which makes the rolls run out faster. The sheets are ¾ of a full size roll rather than half-sheets, which is what every other-pick-a size I've ever bought has. The point of pick-a-size is to reduce usage and to stretch the life of the roll. These make me use more than I want, but they are a good price per roll and strong, so I might buy more of these.
This is a warehouse size 16 count package. It has 8 two count packages in it. Each roll only has 95 half sheets on it. The 2 count packages make it very easy to store them on a shelf or in a closet versus single rolls. These towels are soft and absorbent. They are thin and not very strong. They fall apart quickly when wet. The rolls are pick-a-size but even for a small spill you have to use at least two of them to get the whole spill cleaned up. In the garage if you use them to wipe oil or grease off your hands and apply to much pressure they just tear and shred. They work well as the final wipe when cleaning mirrors and windows as long as you do not get them too wet. I was somewhat disappointed with this product.
