These are good for anything you need. Cleans up small messes, and big ones. :) Love the pick a size, it helps to use less if you need less. No more wasting a whole paper towel on a tiny spill. Love the big package, wont have to worry about running out any time soon.
This towel has the perfect sized sheets, just right for drying hands -- no need for wasting a large sheet for a small job. Though the towel is a little thinner than others I have used, it is still durable enough to clean a small spill. Sometimes I use two sheets, and I realize it's just psychological - because the towels are thin; however, one sheet will do. The towels are designed with a nice scroll pattern that is not only pretty, but helps to suction up wetness. The sheets are easy to tear apart, but sometimes they don't rip on the perforated line, and that's only a problem if you are a neat fanatic (guilty!)
Looked at these in the store- but wasn't going to chance switching from my old faithful. I wish I had now - they are just as good as the "other pick a size" and 50 cents cheaper per pack! 1 section is enough for wiping the sink edges & counter area clean and dry. They hold up the same with a heavy duty kitchen cleaner. The only area they were not as good was the 1 sink I have to use cleanser on - I needed 2 sections together for that job. These are scent free, dye free plain white. And another bonus - I have used off brands in the past to clean mirrors with the others left streaks. Sparkle does not streak or smear with Windex!Yes I will be buying these in the future. My husband also used them on the car windows & says they are the SAME as high end ones. That is an endorsement
Sparkle paper towels with thirst pockets are reliable paper towels. They do not shred to pieces when wet like some other paper towels do. They are 2-ply so they have 2 sheets pressed together for added strength. I really like paper towels that divide into smaller sheets which are economical and better for the environment since not every job requires a full size sheet. That means there is less wasted. You do not need a bunch of these paper towels to clean up a spill. You can soak up the spill, ring out the paper towel, and soak up more. I tried this with the smallest sheet which is 7 inches wide. I had rung it out 2 times to clean up about ¼ cup of spilled water, after that I still used the wet sheet and cleaned my counter top, and wiped out my double kitchen sink, then scrubbed a dried up unknown spill on the floor. It could have kept going, but I was done before my paper towel was. That is the way it should be. These are called Just White-Keepin' it Classic, because they have no colors added, which is good for the environment, too. They do have an attractive circular, swirl design that is hole-punched in them, which is what the thirst pockets are. The only negative is that the width of the smallest Sparkle pick-a-size sheet is 7 inches; my regular brand is 6 inches, which I think is enough when you want to use a smaller sheet.
They are absorbent and one tear-off sheet us slightly larger than the tear-off sheet of a cheaper package. Although there is a design it is not really noticeable so design was not a primary consideration. Of course, most of us use paper towels to clean up really big messes and these towels do the job with a minimum number of sheets. There is no readily apparent lint problem when cleaning glass and I would recommend these towels for everyday use. The pictures show the size difference but do not do justice to the cleaning ability and towel durability.
We use tons of paper towels, from the kitchen to the garage. We all agree on the select a size. It means a napkin needed for a meal or more for a large mess. I'd noticed the size of your sheet is 1 inch wider then my regular brand, and already put it to the test. Washing the widow were the Pomeranian's bark all day long! It took 2 towels, great news. That is what it takes with the more expensive brand. Test #2 was making egg salad for my husband. I used a few less then normal on this task as they did well when wet. Once clean up was ready, used some of them to wash out the bowl with some dish liquid, and they did not fall apart, like that. Once mission was complete the final test was washing my hands, and using 1 to dry my hands and dry up the sink area. They did well, can be a little softer, other then that I will look at them seriously now and if price is less then my regular brand, for SURE will they be our new paper towel. LOVE THE LAGER ROLLS and the select a size. Very important to not waste what we do not have to.
Sparkle Pick-A-Size White Paper Towels, 95 sheets, 6 rolls I received the Sparkle Pick-A-Size White Paper Towels (6 rolls) for free through the Spark Reviewer program. They are really great for everyday use. I absolutely love the select-a-size feature, As I don't always need a full sheet of paper towel. I frequently use them in place of napkins at mealtime. In the past I always had to tear them in half myself (and could never tear them straight) I own a lot of small pets at my home and I go through paper towels like crazy cleaning cages. I love the value of Sparkle Towels. They hold up nicely to scrubbing cages and can be bought for a decent price. They have a very nice circular pattern on them and can also be purchased in colors.
Sparkle Pick-A-Size paper towels are perfect for my family. I have 3 boys who spill everything. Sometimes, they spill a little, sometimes a lot. Sparkle seems to be very durable and so far can clean up any mess my boys have made. These paper towels are just as absorbent as the competitors and with the pick a size I can use less without needing to tear the sheet in half like I do with the regular size. Pick-up power for spills is quite adequate and I can't speak for anyone else, but I don't miss the fact that there is no particular fancy pattern on them - all white works just as well as pattern sheets at cleaning the counter. I have even used them to wash the dishes when I didn't have a sponge. I for one am very satisfied. The only issue that seems to be of any significance is the fact that Sparkle changed the size of their rolls. You used to be able to get 144 sheets per roll instead of 107 for the same price. Unfortunately, this is happening with many products. However, it is still a great deal and a good product!
I gotta say that i usually buy viva or bounty paper towels rolls, I don't know why but the design of the sparkle package it's not appealing, I thought it was suggesting to be cheap, boy I was wrong! This rolls are actually very nice! I compared them with the bounty ones are if they not the same quality I dear to say that are better. Specially the feature that you can choose the size of the amount of paper you use since it has perforations every five inches or so, they are very resistant and absorbs nicely. I will definetly buy more sparkle products in the future. Thanks Wal-Mart!
I received this Sparkle 6 Rolls-95 2-PLY sheet paper towels as a Sparks Reviewer item.The paper towels are smaller and not as thick as the Bounty Basic paper Towels I was using at the time. I use paper towels constantly as I bake a lot and clean as I go. These are so thin and need to be discarded frequently when they get wet.Probably would not use them for big cleanups
