I am happy with what I paid and what I got. Sounds great and it's fun to use.
Everything about this guitar is great. The price and how it looks caught my eye but now that I have been playing it I really am pleased. This is great for a beginner or someone who has been playing for awhile.
Great product for a greater price
My son, who is autistic, couldn't make up his mind whether or not he wanted an aucustic guitar or an electric guitar, so with this product he got the best of both worlds. We both couldn't be happier. Trying to please a child with this illness is very difficult and when encountered with a situation such as this one, this product hit the nail on the head!!
just got this guitar in, had to do some basic setup, widening the nut slot because the string was binding. This guitar was better than some more expensive guitar that I had. i was very impressed. i would recommend this to any one starting out or anyone looking for a strat. AND YES IT HAS A FLAME MAPLE NECK!
Beautiful guitar, plays exceptionally well! You can plug your headphones right into the mini amp! I was skeptical about the mini amp but I was proven wrong! It comes in great when you dont have a regular amp handy! Or on the go and you want to play! Im beginning on electric guitars myself and I can tell you I have not been able to put it down! The styling is beautiful, great finish as well! You definitely can not go wrong with this product when your starting out! No flaws in workmanship at all! The last guitar I bought in store elsewhere had a multitude of flaws! I can not say that for this one!
I have had this great Guitar for almost a year now and it is just great the amp is small but other than that this is a great price that no guitar player would turn up if he/she had seen the guitar for them self's. I jumped on this deal target has the same price but they only ship to your house and it is not cheap so if you are a beginner like me wanting to play the electric guitar this is the one for you.
This is one of the BEST low cost guitars I have ever purchased! It has a one piece maple NECK and a flame maple BODY. Both are of exceptional quality! There is a little buzzing on the high " e" string on the first 3 frets. The rest of the frets are fine and the edges are not sharp. The body is routed for a humbucker in both the neck and bridge positions in case you want to change the pickups in the future. The volume and tone knobs are quiet when you turn them unlike most low cost guitars. The tuning gear are ALL metal and have a 15:1 gear ratio. I have not tried using the mini amplifier. Overall, I am very happy and surprised with the quality and low price of this guitar!
the deal breaker for me was the frets hadn't been sanded down, so as i played my fingers got torn up. other than that, ... not a bad guitar... there were buzzes on the lower frets... i tuned the open strings, but the tuning was off at the octave... so i am thinking the intonation is off... i would have tried to fix the intonation and the buzzing, but the frets being so rough.... nice little amp comes with it... but didn't even try the amp because i didn't have a 9v battery.
I ordered this based on other reviews. However when my son opened the box there were several items that were to be included that were missing! Will not order from WalMart again!
