The Spectrum 7 Drum Pad has a true realistic sound. It has midi in out interface. It can be hooked up to Amp Sound system that only adds to the realistic sound. It sound like professional drums. It have a slow response in some places when first tap another pad when playing. But you barely notice it. Its not just a toy. It great for practice for any level drummer. I have sen a good drummer use these kind of drum pads creatively in a performance. It really sound like s real drum set when played using a Amp. It has 431 drum sounds, 30 drum kits, songs for accompaniment. And more. It comes with the a set drum sticks, two pedals, and a stand. So it's really is a good buy.
Perfect! Great drum set to start playing and practicing with. My 5 year old daughter loves it, i like plying them too! A lot of fun for the whole family.
My son has cerebral palsey, he loves it! He can hold the sticks well & makes him stretch his arms There's not enough toys for handicapped children! Parents have to be thoughtful & creative. He is a happy kid & now he is happier.
It was sent out on time and arrived on time as well. My husband loved this gift, as it has so many different focalization, levels, and ranges to go thru. You can also connect to a CD or MP3 player to record yourself...pay on the back to me!! Advice: definitely recommend buying good earphones (over the ear is better) because it can be LOUD, and if you live on the 2nd floor or above of an apartment, definitely get something stable for underneath it to absorb and/or muffle the vibrations of using the foot pedals (my husband thinks he's a rock-band drummer)...
I bought this drum set for my daughter (9 year old) and she loves it. Needless to say everyone in the house has been playing with it. Easy set up. The only thing that I would like to see improved upon would be the stand. The drum set sits on the stand and can fall off if not positioned correctly.
The only complant that I have is the way the drums sit on the stand. It is not as sturdy as I would like it to be. There should be some kind of clamp or something. Otherwise the sound is great.
It looks as though the throne comes with it, but it is not included. Great gift, fun to play.
Spectrum Seven-Pad Digital Drums with Drum Stand is a Christmas present for my granddaughter so I don't know how well it will preform.
This was a gift from Santa for our twelve year old son. We were trying to get him the drum experience without the cost. He was willing to give it a try until his little sister out sounded him on her First Act pink three drum set... It could never get loud enough. So we returned it and still ended up buying the old fashioned drum set - just a junior size for about the same amount of money...
I bought this for myself as a birthday present. I want to learn to play the drums and thought this would be the way to start out. In my opinion, there are two issues. One is the placement of the hi-hat cymbal. Second is the kick pads for the hi-hat cymbal and the bass drum are small and can't get the real feel of a regular drum set. Hard to match the time and the response time on the pedals and to easy to have a double hit when just trying to get one strike of the pad. But this item will work as a practice pad...
