My son enjoys his skates. They fit well and walmart.com only seemed to carry the toddler sizes. If your child is a beginner skater, I highly recommend these skates. Boys would enjoy the tennis shoe attribute they offer.
I bought this as a Christmas present for my son..He has been wanting some of these shoes for the past 6 months..These are the best priced ive seen yet....Merry Christmas to all!!2007
I bought these sneaker skates for my grandson and he loves them. They were much cheaper than the Heelies that he wanted but they serve his purpose. Since he got them for Christmas I have had a hard time getting him out of them. Great product for the money.
The skates I bought for a friend's child were great. He skates on them all the time. He's become very good at it. He'll go from walking to skating and back within minutes. It's a very good product. I highly recommend it.
I bought these shoes for my nephew for Christmas 2007 and I don't know if he has taken them off yet. They are all he talks about. They are very heavy and the wheels are sometimes difficult to engage or else they would have gotten 5 stars all around. And as usual a great price.
All my son wanted for his 4 year old birthday was some heeles. However when i found out that they didnt make them in his size i had to find the next best thing. My son is bigger then the average 4 year old so when i found these spider man skates i thought that this was right up his alley. When he got them for his birthday he was really happy. Even though they were not what he asked for but it was in his size and the price was really great. The spiderman skakes served the purpose. Plus it only took two days to arrive. He loves them and wears them till this day.
I had read another reviewer who said these were good for first time skaters. That is true! My son is 4 and has never been on skates. We padded him up, helmet, elbows, knees and wrists and off he went. He fell a few times, but not bad really. I think the fact that the wheels are so small makes it a bit easier. That also means that they can't get up much speed, but that is also good :)
These shoes are very well loved by my son, but the skate portion of the shoe does not stay where it is put. He will be walking around with the skates put in the 'up' position and then BAM, the rollers pop down, and he can't get them back up by himself because the button is hard to push.
The shoes were alot heavier and the wheels alot smaller then what I had thought. The pictures don't show you the design on the bottom that includes the wheels. My son has a very hard time with these shoe/skates because of their weight and small wheels. If I had seen them in store I would not have purchased them.
I bought these states for my five year old son. From the first day...they were a terrible product. The shoe is extremely heavy for a child to be able to walk in and my son was unable to wear these shoes to school because they clanked so loudly when he walked. It was embarrassing walking through any public place because these shoes were so loud people would just stare. The skates kept popping out when he was walking, causing him to fall almost and then pop in when he was trying to actually skate which would make him fall. I would never recommend these.
