This was a Christmas present and my 3 yr. old loved it! It is very similar to Play Dough in consistency and tools to use with it. We have been making a couple soaps each day and can't wait to buy more for the fun to continue.
My 4 year old granddaughter just loves playing with this in the tub. The only drawback, wants to take a bath more than once a day!!
There are so many things they can make and pretend with this toy, I recomend it.
Cool idea, my daughter loves it, but as a parent I do have to say that the soap does not work like I wish it would. Lots of fun to play with and its a fun thing to do in the tub, but we have to use real soap to get her clean and soft. For the price though, very worth it.
I thoought that this would be a great gift for my granddaughters for Christmas. They are three and a half and they had a good time playing with the soap before it got wet. I must say it was difficult even for me to get the soap to fill the molds and take shape. When the girls got the soap wet they were not too keen on the texture of the soap. It became quite slimey. I wouldn't recommend this toy.
This product was a Christmas gift, my only appreciation. it is hard to do anything with at first because it is hard, once you get water on it it turns into a slimy mess, and sticks to everything, waste of money for all who buy.
The package is nice; the product looks appealing; the soap is the wrong substance paired with the wrong manipulative accesories. I read the directions, took it upstairs to the bath with my 6 & 8 years olds. We got the bath ready, and we began. The soap, of course, got wet from our hands, and then when we tried to make the whale mold, or use the other shape molds, the soap STUCK to them. We were not at all able to use the soap, in their preferred shapes. We had to 'dig' the soap out of the molds and then it was unusable again. The soap is down the drain; the toy accesories are in my children's playdough drawer. I saw NOTHING in the directions about needing to use the molds 'before the bath/before it got at all wet (even moist)'. The box shows it being played with IN the bath. Now I think it may have worked alright if we had 'played with it' in the kitchen, made the molds there, THEN took it, premade, to the bath, without the toys. This product is disappointing for it's purpose, and not worth the expense.
I gave this as a Christmas gift to my 4 year old grand daughter, as she loves bath toys. Unfortunately, the "moldable" soap product was very difficult to work with, dissolved quickly and ended up as a bunch of unidentifiable lumps. The soap product was disappointing, but she is using the plastic molds and mold tools with her play-doh, so it's not a total loss. I would not recommend.
Perhaps it was just the one I bought, but the 'soap' was too sticky to release from the plastic molds and extruder. Tried to use it once and then gave up and put it away. There are still small sticky globs of soap in the bottom of the tub.
I thought this would be fun like playdough to play with in the tub. It stuck to the molds. It stuck to the stampers. It stuck to the rollers for goodness sake! It was a mess and wasn't any fun at all to me or my kids. Total waste of money.
