Love the lasting power of this color! While it does bleed I am able to use it over my brown hair without the bleach! It's great!
I have always used Splat ever since I was a young teenager and I'll be 27 the end of the month. Always beautiful, vibrant and lasts for months (way longer then what the box says.) I have always and will always recommend! Trust me you will love it!!
Great color. Didn’t like the bleach burns too much. Instead use a creme based bleach. The color is awesome. I’ve been using splat colors since I was a teenager. Picture is with creme based bleach and this hair color.
I have been using your product for 7 years on my beard..I was very pleased that you came out with Lemon Drop. I have been looking for a bright yellow because my beard is colored purple and yellow because lm a minnesota vikings f an.
Number one use a old towel and put a bag on your head after if you think it stains it does but if your careful it won’t leave a mess rubbing alcohol removes it from skin and counters FYI I left it on for just 20 minutes rinsed in warm water no stains no mess in the tub nothing I love it so much
So this was pretty easy to use. Pretty much similiar to most of the dyes ive used except for the bleaching part. It was easy to mix but i shouldâve gotten two kits because i have natural hair yhays super thick so some of my edges of some hair in the back of my head is still black but otherwise it looks good. I love the color. Its bright and its exactly the shade i wanted. This stuff will dye your porcelain sink and is hard to get off of your skin so definitely put towels or something down and use vaseline on your skin
I've used Splat on and off for a few years, no complaints thus far. Some of them fade wierd but thats about it. My only problem with my order was the shipping part, I ordered two boxes(fetish pink and emerald green). They were shipped seperately. The first(fetish pink) came in a box, nice and neat, could of fit both in it with plenty of room to spare. The second(emerald green), came in a plastic pouch and when I opened it, it was massacred, the bleach bottle was almost empty too(cant see that in the pic). Safe to say, not pleased with the quality of shipping for the second one.
I love how my hair turned out I did just the underlayer of my hair purple and it didn't need bleach but it did come out a dark purple because I didn't bleach it and I mixed a lil bit of white conditioner (not alot to change color of dye.) But I left it on my hair all night so applied it at 11pm and rinsed out with cold water around 9am. Now this product does bleed badly when wet so I suggest you rinse in cold water when showering and apply some extra dye in a bowl and mix conditioner with it so when it needs touched up just use the conditioner you mixed with the dye and leave it on for a lil while. Now I suggest from here on out you dry your hair with a towel you don't care about and wear a dark shirt because it does drip ALOT so don't go to bed with wet hair and when you sweat the dye even comes off on skin. When you do dye your hair put Vaseline on neck, ears, and forehead because it does stain what it has in contact with.
Each summer to have fun with my kids, we have fun by dying our hair a different color. This is the first Splat color I have ever had any issues with. Other than the fact that it DID NOT come out as a deep emerald color, my youngest two kids didn't even get full coverage. Although their hair was fully saturated and sat for a full hour. My oldest kid and I both used the lightening bleach, a couple of days before we used the color, and after how it turned out for my youngest two, we left ours in longer, but not the full 15 minutes longer that you can do. Our hair turned out better, still was not a deep emerald color, but a dark blue green color. Although it is a nice color, it is not close to what the box shows/says it will be, as it has more blue coloring to it than green. The only reason why I don't give it less stars is because I don't think the end result is ugly. But I also wish there was a way to do half stars, as the end result was not what it should've been and what my kids and I were actually looking forward to. So really giving this 2 1/2 stars and not 3 stars.
The bleach tuned my hair a yellow blond as expected but the silver turned my grays purple. So I had yellow, purple and silver hair. My hair felt sticky until I washed it again 2 days later but all the silver washed out with the first wash. Now I am left with bleached yellow hair. I would not recommend this product.
