This really helps me get in a better mood. Keeps my mind moving in a more positive direction, with with less obsessive worrying. I can feel a definate improvement. St. John's Wort has never given me any stomach issues or headaches. Also, the Spring Valley capsules look fresh and in good condition. I find it best to take the recommended dosage, especially if your just begining to take them, it'll give you a jump start.

But maybe you don't want to go to take a prescription. I tried everything at the pharmacy first and I tell you St Johns Wart really lifts your mood and makes you have a better day. Your family and friends will notice you smile more. It's only 10 bucks, what have you got to lose.
Mixed feelings on these. I am not depressed by a doctors stsndards. I am sad and mopey alot. Taking these, I don't feel like that everyday anymore and I didn't realize it happened until I reached for the bottle and started tracking it! I did start too much, git nose bleeds, check with your doctor.
this brand help me with my anixey and it also clears my mind from negative things I would recommend taking this if you don't wanna take medicine that your doctor prescribed for your mood swings or anxiety!!!
I forget to take it or run out at times. I'm always amazed at how I feel the difference when I go back to taking it! The active ingredient is in a lot of prescription meds, so you know it's the real deal! Natural too! I just feel happier and less stressed when I take it! Great stuff!!

I have been using between 600 and 900 mg a day of Saint johns wort for more than a decade. At least the last five years has been Spring Valley product. This product does exactly what I need it to do. but there's something there any user of St. John's wort should realize: if you don't tell your physicians, you're taking it, you could run into a interaction with medication‘s they might prescribe. if you do, tell your physicians that you're taking it, the reactions I have experienced is if they want to write a pharmaceutical grade prescription, such as a tricyclic antidepressant, because that gives them more control over the situation One of them told me that because it was literally the packaging of a plant, the actual strength per capsule has a wide variance his argument was that what they whip up in a laboratory, and then shove into a pill has a standardized amount per pill actually, it doesn't. Brand names can vary up to 20% while generics can vary up to 50%. of the stated dosage, strength. I know my physician didn't care to hear that, but I have read the warnings and side effects of a couple of tricyclic antidepressants and I didn't care for risking that.
