I've been buying Spring Valley K2 for a few years. When I opened a new bottle yesterday, the softgels were a very dark purple color. In the past, the softgels were a lavender or very light purple color. I compared the pills in the bottle that expire in 2022 which were lavender and made in Japan with the softgels in the new bottle which expire in 2023. The new dark purple softgels are made in China. I wish the manufacturer would have described the pill on the outer bottle so I wouldn't have been alarmed at the change.
My doctor recommended the k2 (and magnesium) for bone strength. My bone density improved in two years.
Good price, good selection, arrived quickly. Good way to get vitamins when you can't go to the store.
This vitamin comes as a small brownish softgel sourced in Japan. I left a pill out for a half a humid day and it softened so it must be hygroscopic. That should not affect it. Because of COVID-19 I became aware of the great importance of K2 related to the body's immune robustness and in vitamin K2's roles in so many other ways, especially calcium transport, bone health. heart health. prostate health to name a few. I will take it the rest of my life considering how hard it is to get it in the American diet.
I don't feel it priced right
I started loosing my hair. I was told Vitamin K2 could help with hair loss. I started taking one a day and within three weeks my hair stopped falling out and started feeling healthy again.
I started having bloody noses every 2 weeks this past winter of 2015 and had to be so careful of blowing my nose. When I would blow it gently it would begin to gush. Someone suggested taking Vitamin K and I went to Walmart and bought Spring Valley K2 100mg tablets 60ct. I begin taking them right away, 1 tablet per day. I no longer have had bloody noses for over a month now. Since I have started taking it, a Rancher told me that when his cattle would bleed, they would give them vitamin K shots and it worked wonders for them too.
Studies for 10+ years shows this to work well with Vitamin D3 so that calcium does not build up in blood vessels.
Disappointed in the packaging at the warehouse. I ordered cleaner to clean mold off the outside bricks of my house. Walmart packed my K2 supplements in the box with the cleaning product. The cleaner leaked all over the bottom of the box. It was not wrapped to prevent it from leaking onto my 2 bottles of supplement. Food products should be secured in a plastic bag to prevent contamination. Better yet, sent separately. Food and chemicals do NOT mix.
There was something in gummy melatonin. Cut it open, black item inside. Will never buy again.
