It's always so cold in my office, there are no heating vents only AC, so it's cold in the winter and the AC on in the summer too cold as well. I had to replace a space heater and needed something that did not produce such dry heat as I have allergies. This one was perfect. Easy to use and very quiet.
Good amount of heat pushed out. Heats basement bedroom to a great temperature.
This heater heats the room up nicely and adds a bit of moisture at the same time (not alot tho). I suffer from the condition "dry eyes" and the added moisture makes the heater more tolerable in a medium sized room.
The Sunpentown ceramic heater has a feature that few other heaters have, a built in humidifier. Most electric heaters tend to dry out the air, this one has a reservoir for water and puts humidity in the air. This is very important if you have young children in the house, since humidified air can help relieve the discomfort of colds, dry throats and stuffy noses! The heater is fairly quiet, has a tip-over safety switch and two heat settings. We have it in a 12'x20' room and it heats the whole room efficiently. I highly recommend this heater.
I have owned many Ceramic heaters, but this Unit is the finest I have ever owned. It produces excellent heat, both on the low, and high settings. The other aspect of this Ceramic heater is the humidifier. Having owned numerous ceramic heaters all produce a dry heat. For me, this caused my eyes to itch, and I would cough, as it was a very dry type heat. This Unit I now own releases humidity into the area I heat which puts moisture into the air. The result, no itching eyes, and no cough. Also, this is a very quiet system unlike other Ceramic heaters I have owned. Also, the proof of how well my new Ceramic heater works was one night the temperature was 10 degrees. I sleep with my window partially open in my bedroom. My room was amazingly warm. I have never written a Product Review before, but I wanted to share this information for those who are seeking a Ceramic heater. Finally, I purchased this through the Site to Store. This Unit arrived quicker than I anticipated, and when I went to pick my Ceramic heater up, one of the Assistant Store Mangers helped me in many ways. My overall experience was absolutely wonderful, as is my new Ceramic heater. Thank you Walmart.
Works very well for additional heat, and humidify/heat combo.
I am pleased with the function of this product, it runs quite and the humidifier is very good.
The heater is okay but I don't think it provides as much heat as other reviews seem to indicate.
This is a very nice heater, if that's all you need. It heats well, it's quiet, light and very nice looking. It really does a nice job if you only need heat. Unfortunately we bought it for a specific application in which we needed heat and humidity in a very confined space. We got the desired temperature, but the humidity didn't raise at all in the space. We decided to keep it only because it heats well and might come in handy if we ever have trouble with our furnace. However, I'm sure we could have purchased a less expensive space heater for heat only.
After the heater is turned on, it does not automatically turn off and on during heating. Air blows out at bottom of heater towards floor and air is not that warm. At least not warm enough to warm a small room. I am returning it and ordering another style.
