My problem is not so much acne, even though the main ingredient is salicylic acid, but redness and uneven skin. I've used this product twice with the last time being just a few minutes ago, my skin is incredibly soft! It immediately reduced my redness! I also noticed it purging my pores. I wet my face with warm water to open the pores and rinsed with cold water. I highly recommend this stuff!!
I started using this cleanser about 3 days ago and, so far, I am really impressed! It has gotten rid of most of the redness and is starting to clear up the acne that is there. It is a great product that I would recommend to anyone! I have sensitive skin and was afraid I would break out or my skin would dry out, but none of that has happened. I am VERY pleased with this cleanser.
I have been struggling with acne for the last 3 years, and never found a cleanser that didnt dry out my skin and worsen my acne. My mother bought me this and I was BLESSED. Its been a week since i've been using it and most of my acne cleared up right away within 2-3 days. TOTAL RECOMMEND
I used the st Ives apricot scrub for about 7 years, but it hasn't been doing much for my face the past year and a half so i decided to switch to the st Ives cleanser and scrub. I bought both yesterday and used the scrub at night and cleanser in the morning and after school (my face gets pretty oily in the heat). when i woke up, my face was glowing, which i haven't had in years! redness was down and my pimples were already drying up, i can instantly feel the cleanser attack the acne and its great! I totally recommend it!
By far my favorite acne clearing cleanser! It soothes the redness on my acne prone skin and I hardly ever breakout since I've started using this (3 yrs ago). I'll get a random pimple but that's it! It does make my skin a little dry/tight but I like that as otherwise I'll get too greasy to ever put lotion on. SIMPLY AMAZING!
I love love love this product! Thank you! After years of killing my skin I finally tried this. I can not believe that I found this product and it works and its amazing. I also use the blemish fighting apricot cleanser (orange one) in the shower a couple dasy a week. The combo is amazing and I tell everyone about st ives!
I began using this cleanser last winter. I have had acne prone skin for all of my life, so when i started seeing my skin clearing I knew something was changing. but when i ran out of my Green Tea cleanser and started using a cleanser that i had at home already i saw my skin start to revert back to it's old blemish-ful ways. bad news is my skin is still acne prone. good news is I am back to using St. Ives green tea cleanser and no more red blotchy face!
This thing actually works. I originally bought it because it smelled nice but then I decided I didn't like the smell so I used it on my backacne instead of my face. And I'm so glad I did because all my life I've had problems with back acne and even withe prescription medicine this is the only thing that shows improvement right away. Over night everything was a lot less puffy and swollen. Not only that it was less red. Three days after I've used it my acne is just a light pink and a lot less obvious. I'm so glad I discovered this its now my holy grail item. I love it and wanna use it for the rest of my life.
This cleanser is very soothing and softens the skin unlike any other cleanser I've tried before (Olay, Neutrigena, Clean & Clear.. etc.) I stopped using it for two weeks and broke out like crazy! I didn't realize I had an acne problem because I had been using this since it came out! Smooth, clear & balanced skin is what you get with this wonderful product. Thanks St. Ives! :)
I have dry, itchy skin. This product dried out my skin, leaving it itchy and uncomfortable. The smell is a little weird. It did well with blemishes, but not recommended for those with dry skin. If you have dry skin and acne, use the Blackhead & Blemish Control Apricot Scrub. I love it and use it all the time.
