As a classic car collector I had heard of this product through car programs on television as well as seeing it on magazines, yet I had never used until recently. I've kept myself informed on the negative impact ethanol has on older cars and thus I was very curious in using it. When it arrived I followed the easy instructions and mixed it with the fuel when filling up. So far, all is fine and I feel that I have piece of mind by using this product. HI i run a small engine repair shop and i use and recommend this product . The fuels we are getting now are not the same quality that they used to be years ago and with the addition of Ethanol it makes it even worst . The Sta-Bil w/Ethanol Treatment works well protecting the fuel while helping to stove off the effects of the horsepower robbing Ethanol .
I have been using Sta-Bil products for 20+ years. I add Sta-Bil to my gas cans when I fill them. I fill my four 5 gal. cans once a year. That lasts me for the year, unless we have a lot of snow, or I need to run my generator. I have not had a fuel related problem since using Sta-Bil. I can now let my mower/snow blower gas sit in the can for a year and still use it without worry.
This a prevention product. Mix with fuel on smaller tanks a splash will do. Best mix with a gallon or 5 gallons of fuel. I used and trust this product. My mower and snoblower sit idle but i know they will start.
I have used Sta-bil 360 not only in my boat but also in my back up generator, pressure washer, chain saw and other equipment that sits for an extended period of time. I have never had any issues with my gas even after a period of 6+ months. This product is very reliable and will save you money from costly repairs due to stale bad gas. I tried this product for the first time recently. I want to protect my 2005 GTO from the ethanol blend we use here in Texas. The humidity and heat really make this a challenge. I used to run the fuel additive business for a major chemical company, so I experimented with two steel cans in my garage where the temperature is quite high this summer. I've used STA-BIL products for many, many years and have always found STA-BIL to be reliable. STA-BIL "360" is used in my 1990 Mustang 5.0 LX and my 2003 Mazda Tribute (V-6) as these older vehicles need this type of STA-BIL product to keep the fuel tank and the entire fuel system corrosion free due to the ethanol content in gasoline. SAT-BIL is also utilized to keep the fuel fresh in the '90 Mustang as this vehicle is used only in the summer (9,000 miles).
Living in South Florida has its advantages, but the summers can be brutal. Car shows and cruise nights virtually stop for most of June, July and August, which means the cars sit. I usually can smell the gas when I start the car after a month or so, as it doesn't take long to get the stale smell...except not today! I added Sta-Bil 360 to my tank aa little over 30 days ago and no smell!! And the motor started immediately and ran perfect. I recommend this product and will continue to use it. A few months back, a friend recommended the Sta-bil 360 fuel treatment for my motorcycle since it was getting colder outside & almost time to store it for the winter months. We had a warm day recently, so, I decided to go for a ride. My Magna started right up after sitting for about a month with a half a tank of fuel. Just one quick press on the start button & she fired right up. As in recent times it took a few seconds to turn over, not this time. A smoother idle, quicker throttle response & power felt better. Sta-bil has proven it again that their fuel treatments prevail !!! Going to have to buy more for the rest of my gas powered tools !!!
