I am an adult collector and purchased this for myself. I was thrilled when I opened the box. The packaging is fabulous, with a great sci fi look, perfect for display. The doll's fashion is made of realistic materials, not like play line dolls. Her face and hair remind me of anime characters, which is perfect for depicting a robot character like R2D2. I love this doll. She is collector quality, so I don't mind paying this price point. Not sure if I would buy for a young child, but probably would for an older child that cares for their dolls.
This was an amazing find. So glad that I was able to get one of these beautiful Barbies! She looks amazing in her Darth Vader look! Even the packaging is cool and makes it worth keeping in the box.
Finally I've got the most beautiful doll ever made. She's gorgeous! Design, face, quality - everything is perfect. I can't stop looking at her - she's an angel, came from above. Many thanks to Mattel team for taking care and fast response. Guys, you're making a true art!
The face of this doll is Stunning. Around her outfit has patterns that remind those of the droid. She is a perfect representation of humanized R2D2. Robert Best has done a great job in this series. Hope to see more Star Wars dolls in the future.
This is one of my favorite 'barbie' dolls to date. I love that her face isn't the usual face style and I love the blue hair and the overall style of this one. She's on display and constantly look at her. As a HUGE R2D2 fan, this is amazing.
I have a weakness for brilliant and different hair coloured dolls. I think she is gorgeous and whereas my sister thought she was the most beautiful of the three from this collection. I really like the packaging and all the concept and I will keep her in her box as most of my dolls. I am truly satisfied with her.
This doll is so beautiful and has such a great design. I love the makeup, the hair, and the outfit. I'm so happy to have her apart of my collection.
As a Barbie and Star Wars fan, I had to get her to add to my first two in this series. Whereas the Darth Vader and Princess Lei Barbies are elegant and almost regal, she is positively adorable and a must-have! She definitely has a younger vibe of the three -- ready to strut her stuff at the next ComiCon or Star Wars conventions! Absolutely love her!!
This barbie is so breathtaking in person, from the box to the doll itself. The makeup is so original, the hair is gorgeous, and so much attention went into the outfit. The skin tone & face mold look so cool under any lighting too. Very well done. It's a must for any collector. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I love this doll. Everything about her is perfect. But the box turned out to be defective (it became visible only by removing the white protective paper). The right front edge was torn!!! I was crying. But if it wasn't for the defect, the doll would still be in the box, and so I unpacked it and relentlessly admire it.
