This is such a fun toy!!! All of my kids love to play with it - my 7 year old loves to rein-act the story lines, down to my 15 month old who loves to push the buttons and make sounds. (This toy is not meant for children under 3). A nice item to add to your hasbro galactic heroes star wars collection.
This toy is amazing. Made very well, with sounds from the real Star Wars movies. It is a heavier toy, but to me that means solid construction. My son is so rough on toys and this still looks brand new. This company does a great job with their ships and reconginzes that their target audience is a little boy who will make these things fly or crash. Buy this for your kid.
My husband bought this for our oldest son, who is almost 5, before he turned a year old in hopes that he would be a big Star Wars fan. He has a large collection of Galactic Heroes and other Star Wars toys, but this continues to be his favorite. He plays with it every day. A few of the pieces pop off easily, but even after years of playing with it they still pop back on easily (for an adult). The sound effects quit working long ago, but it doesn't matter at all to him (or us!)
This is a great toy. It was released a few years ago and I have been wishing I could find it again. It was selling for between $100-$500 on auction sites and there was no way I could afford one. I heard it was being re-released and made a trip to my local Wal*Mart every week or so in hopes of finding one. Just when I thought I'd never find one it was made available on-line. My son loves it and I can't help getting down and playing with him. I think it's even cooler than the original Star Wars toys I collected in the 70's. It's well worth the price.
I saw this in a walmart store and instantly fell in love with it. My son has several of the action figures, but I knew he just had to have the Falcon. I ordered it online when it wasn't available in my local store (I did ship to store and it was super easy!!) I didn't even realize it had all the cool sound effects of the characters and Falcon sounds. they were a great treat and he loves playing with it!!
My friend saw this on the website and knew that I had been buying the Star Wars collections for my son. I ordered this right away. It was BETTER than I expected. I had no idea it had lights and sounds-plays the Star Wars theme. It was bigger than I thought, but in a good way. The only down side is the ramp tends to fall off. But my son could care less and all the other features make up for it. My husband and I got so excited we bought another one for when our youngest is old enough, and he's only 4 months right now! ha. It will be a great toy even 2-3 years from now.
My 3 year old son and 9 year old daughter love this toy. To be truthful, everyone in the family has played with it (including grandparents). The hatch, gun, and stairs are removed easily by my 3 year-old, but are effortlessly reattached and continue to be functional. The sound effects are cute albeit annoying on long car rides. I would recommend this product.
Overall this product is wonderful...love that it is electronic. The only issue that I have had, is that some parts are too easily removed causing them to fall off. But again, I do think it is a great product. My boys love it and all their Star Wars Galactic Heroes ships and figures!
This is an awesome toy. My son plays with it everyday and he is 6 years old. We do have a problem with the stairs coming off of the ship, but it is easy to fix. Also, the cockpit can be hard to open for younger children. All in all though, a great product. The sound effects are great!!
This was a birthday gift for my 5 year old son. The ship is pretty cool and reminds me of the Millennium Falcon my brother and I had as kids. However, the ligths and sound stopped working in less than hour of play. We were going to try to exchange it, but my son doesn't seem to mind.
