I purchased this for my teen and it appeared to be working fine until one night it overheated, caught on fire and started sparking at the connection port. Because it is wrapped in metal it got so hot to the touch when she tried to unplug it it burned her fingers...thankfully she was able to get it unplugged before it burned down out entire house..I will NEVER purchase another charger from this company again...I'm out a charger cord, a charger box and power strip...but my family could have lost their lives over this...very distrubing.
