This Tea kettle not only looks great... but is a work horse. I use this kettle 3-4 times a day. It can easily hold enough of water for 2 deep tea cups 12 ounces (350ml) each. Heats up fast and can boil water quickly (especially on induction ranges). The trick as soon at it boils with a steady steam coming out... pour the water into the tea cups.. remove the lid (still cool enough to grab top knob) and rest it on a trivet. Grab the center of the kettle handles (without lid) dump the remaining water in sink... the kettle is hot enough any residual water evaporates off in seconds. HIGHLY recommend this kettle! Please use it for its intended purpose, not as a display piece.
I'm not a millionaire, but I like to buy quality products and this pot is a very good example of that. Very happy with my purchase, I have to say, that my tea teasts better now.
Fantastic kettle and not is it functional, it is considered a piece of art in my kitchen. I keep it on display on my stove top and it never goes unnoticed by my guests. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.
This is the perfect tea kettle for making hot tea, or cider, or any festive beverage during the cold months. The enameled cast iron heats up really well and quickly so you can get to enjoying your beverage sooner than waiting around for it to heat up like other kettles. Love the French look of the kettle too!
It is beautiful. I have not used as I am just admiring for now! The color, the finish! , the design, all of the kettle is spectacular thus I will not use just yet. “Saving for that special ‘one day'.” Thank you….
This tea kettle is the perfect size to make my tea every morning. I add several ingredients to my tea so I was looking for a tea kettle with a wider top to allow me to add milk and honey to my tea as it's cooking. Great product and looks great too! I love the quality of this and that it made of a non-leaching non-toxic material! We use it for water mostly, though it can be used for soups. Wish there was a "steam whitsle" that could attach to let you know when the water is boiling.
Have admired this piece for some time, finally treated myself. As anticipated, it keep water hot for a long time, clean and superb styling, super high quality construction and finish. But really could be substantially bigger, double capacity. As it is you get only about 2-3 standard mugs full of tea, then need to boil new water all over again
Staub quality not as expected. Store experience is awful. I don't think I'd purchase a Zwilling product again after bad experiences with Staub purchases at Christmas.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pot was seemed great at first, but after a few months of use the bottom of the pot began disintegrating. Didn't think that was possible with this material, certainly not with such little use. To make matters worse, I only realized what was happening after taking a big gulp of tea with fragments in it. Furious.
