I researched all over the internet before buying this presser. They're not generally carried in stores, so it's hard to try them or see them in person. Also I was worried that if I bought one, it would be a hassle to return it if I didn't like it. When I saw this model on Walmart.com, I ordered it and had it sent to store. Got it home and tried it on a stack of laundry. It's wonderful! Heats up quickly and makes short work of ironing as it has a large pressing area. Also when filled with water the steam feature does not leak or send up big gusts of steam. Just does the job. I've used it a lot and haven't had a single problem. It's a must have for everything from trousers to t-shirts. Also I use it for quilting. Price from Walmart is great and if you should have a problem it's easy to return to store.
I've wanted a steam press for years but never could find one, or if I found one it always cost too much. Needless to say, when I finally decided to go forward and get one, there were many to choose from thus making the decision harder to make. I am very happy with myself for buying this product. I mainly wanted it in order to undo the wrinkles in permanent press clothes left too long in the dryer, refresh my "dry clean only" items and to press creases in jeans legs. I love the look of sharply creased/pressed jeans! It pays for itself when I consider what it costs to get them starched/pressed at the cleaners. The 10-second beeper helps me know how long to press without worrying about counting to the recommended 8-10 seconds. The steam buttons on the sides of the handle are conveniently placed for use. It does take learning to manipulate the project to keep from getting "extra" creases, but that's ok. I'm very pleased with the end results when I have to "do the ironing". I have no regrets for buying this product even though it took me many years to decide to spend the money. I'm pleased with my choice out of the many.
I bought the Steamfast MEDIUM press at first and returned it immediately as soon as i open the box, because it was way too small to press anything. Then I order this one, it is perfect for household use! I'm so happy with this product. Note: DO NOT BUY THE MEDIUM size press!!
Its been a while since I bought this but trust its the best thing I got it saves me a lot of time. My family loves it They didnt even like to iron before
Very pleased with this product. Easy to use, great for husbands shirts, and quilting/applique! Much nicer than others that I've purchased. Comes with a very Handy refill container, and pressing accessory. Fair price in comparision to others that carry same product. Highly recommend this item!
My teenager loves this product for his school uniforms, the only downsize is the size you think it would be a little bigger to fit a pair of pants, but all is good. This product has saved time and money from going to the Cleaners to get pressed
I am visually impaired and could see well enough to iron with the clothes press I just lay it down and press the clothes look great
Presser does not take up much room. easy to set up --great to use sitting down. produces large amounts of steam, Takes a little time to learn ironing tricks and how not to burn your hands while arranging piece on board (hint--use cotton gloves) Because I am disabled, this presser is great. Also wish I had orderd the larger one. Needed to think about the size , not the cost,.
Takes awhile to use effectively. Saves lots of time.
Great price -- was excited to start saving some money on dry cleaning; but quickly disappointed. Out of the box, it did not work correctly. Filled distilled water as directed by ops manual, put settings to "cotton" and turned it on. After about 20 minutes of heating up, the steam function finally started working. Followed directions to press my first garment ...after two shots of steam, the steam stopped functioning and never returned -- Essentially, it became a really good Iron (but without steam). I tried it two more times on different days with same poor results. So ...less than 2 weeks after purchase ...I just printed the return label and packing it into my car to take it to Wal-Mart today. I still want to purchase a good steamer ....but doing some MORE research to find the best bang for the buck.
