I bought this for my 5 yr old daughter for Christmas. When we opened it Christmas morning it was missing the curtain rod. Fortunately, we had a substitute that worked so we didn't have to return it and it saved the day. Overall, the product is wonderful!! My daughter absolutely loves it and mommy loves it too! She has a very active imagination and loves to pretend play with puppets & dolls. I bought her a snow white puppet set from Lillian Vernon (even though it comes with two puppets) and it has been one of her most favorite presents. We all have puppet shows together as a family & friends join in too. I would highly recommend this product for your kids. You just can't go wrong with Step 2 products when it comes to quality and durability.
I bought this for my two kids (4 and 6). They love it. It comes with a spotlight, two puppets, red curtain, wipe off pen and stickers to make it look like the picture. It was already assembled - I just had to add the stickers and put on the light and curtain. There are two doors in the back that makes it sturdy when they are playing but can easily fold up and be stored in the closet. Overall, I'd reccomend this to anyone looking for a puppet theatre but doesn't want to spend tons of money.
Excellent toy for all ages. Our 4 children ages 2 to 10 all love the puppet theater. All the adults joined in the interactive fun during puppet shows. Excellent family toy. Great for role play. Hours of laughs while watching creative puppet shows. Sturdy, well built, great colors, excellent Step 2 product!
We got this puppet theater for our daughter's second birthday, and she absolutely loves it, as does our 3 1/2 year old son. They have so much fun putting on shows for us. It is also a great deal for the money. I love that the doors fold up and it can store flat against the wall. We liked it so much that we decided to get on for our twin, 3 year old nieces.
My daughter was quite upset for weeks that she forgot to ask Santa for this. Luckily he knows all. They coudnt wait for me to put it together (a fer stickers and an LED light (that didnt work) but they didnt notice. Comes w/ 2 puppets and they have made up new stories every day. Make sure you have a place to store it - it is bulky. Will hold up well.
This puppet theater was exactly what I was looking for. It is the perfect size for our family. I wanted more than a table top theater but didn't want something enormous. This will be entertaining for all of us:)
I shopped online and in stores for months for a puppet theater. I originally did not want another big plastic toy. I thought the wood theater would be more classic. However, many of the reviews for those said they tipped easily. This one is sturdy, has a spotlight and comes with two puppets! It also has a storage area for puppets in the back. I also purchased it as an online special for $35 with only $5 shipping cost. Awesome value! My four year old loves it and has played with it non-stop, even as a stage for her Barbie dolls. The older kids love to help her put on plays too. Be aware it was delivered with no packaging in case it's a gift.
this was a little smaller than I thought it would be, but ok for a 3 and 5 year old. I did get this on sale for $35 don't think i would have payed full price.
This is wonderful product if you have more than one child it keeps there attention and there imagination going. I would suggest that you buy extra puppets for more variety
I am not very happy with this. It is huge!! It takes up way too much space. I will be returning it.
