this is a really nice looking crib. It was very easy to put together the directions were easy to follow and you can pretty much put it together by yourself. i only neede my husband to hold the crib stationary once so that i could attach the mattress suport. it only took thirty minutes to put together which is the fastes for any cib i have owned and this is the third one.
I had been shopping around for a crib for the upcoming birth of my nephew. I wanted something that was economical and sturdy and easy to put together. Well, i found it! The crib was everything that i was looking for. It only took a few miniutes to put together and it looks beautiful in the nursery. I feel confident that my nephew will get alot of use out of this crib and i would HIGHLY recommend this product for those on a tight income but wants the durability that it provides. I ordered this to be shipped to store. I live in Jersey and my family lives in NC and it only took about 9 days to get there. I saved over $80.00 in shipping costs. Wow! what more can i say.
Bought this crib for my grandson when he comes to Na Na's house. He's spent the night a few times and worked well. It wasn't hard to put together. I did it myself. I think it's a very good product and the price is awesome. The rail is a bit tricky. Once you get the hang of it, it's easy. There's a groove on the bottom and you just move it over. It's actually a safety feature so that the child isn't able to lower it himself. If you look behind the rail on the bottom, you'll see it.
We purcahsed this crib for our first child online, after researching almost every crib out there. It arrived on time, no scratches or marks, and went together easily. It is a great crib when on a budget, and most other cribs are not that much better, you are just paying more for the same thing!
This was purchased for Grandma's House. Great deal on shipping, was only 0.97 cents. It is not real wood, but it is a nice cherry color. Not real hard to put together. Only flaw is side is a little hard to put down, but overall, good buy for the price.
We have a simplicity crib (the kind that is attached to the three drawers) and it is much more sturdy feeling than this one. I agree with the other reviewer that this crib"is not the most sturdy wood...so it does feel kind of cheap, but it looks nice". I would not put our two year old in this but for a little baby it seems like it will get the job done. The drop rail is super easy, we haven't had any problems with it. My husband was able to put this crib together very quickly. If we had more money, I would buy a more sturdy crib. However, if you are looking for a cheap crib - this one would work for a younger baby.
This crib is a good value for the budget conscious shopper. The price is very good, the crib looks good (especially when dressed with a nice bed set) and is of reasonable quality. The only drawback I've noticed is that the side takes two hands to lower and raise; it isn't difficult but it does take some getting used to. This was purchased as a baby gift for my niece.
We are halfway done setting it up. As far as I could tell it was fairly easy to set up. We are just trying to decide where to put it now. It doesn't take up a whole lot of room either, which is nice. I really liked the price for the value also. I cant wait til our little girl sleeps in it.
I received the crib and had a broken piece. I called stork craft for over a week and no one answered. I e-mailed no one replied. Finally I returned the crib to Walmart that does have great customer service. Got my refund and come to find out the crib has been recalled anyway. I will never buy a stork craft product. Next time I will try the customer service line for the build it your self furniture then I will buy knowing I do have support.
I was so disappointed when I recieved this crib today. The quality of the wood is low and the general construction of the crib is poor. A piece of cheap plywood is supposed to support the mattress. I am returning this and would not recommend it. Spend some extra money and get a higher quality crib.
