This is a great phone at Straight Talk's great price. Batter life is wonderful on this phone. Only one problem and it is not the phone. I can't find a holster for it. Been to Walmart several time and can't find anything that fits. There must be one and Walmart should have it handy.
I bought this after having an LG Showtime for about 6 months. It is a much better phone than the Showtime. The apps run great with no lag time. The battery life is much better too. The only negative is the screen gets pretty washed out when outdoors. I have tried the camera only a few times and it seems pretty good. Overall, I am very happy with this phone.
I've been with straight talk since June, I had an Optimus Logic at first, then in October I bought this phone, since it was bigger than the S3, had a better processor as well. This phone hasn't have any issues i dealt with so far. big screen, comes with good pre loaded apps, and the battery is great. Only thing i dislike about this phone.. 1. Very few cases for it. other than that its amazing for the price. If you dont wanna spend tons for a Galaxy or IPhone you should get this phone!
For those of you wondering about the phones memory please go to settings>storage>Click "SD" for main storage.... Enjoy!!!
The phone itself is nice but I get terribly frustrated when the phone turns itself off in the middle of a conversation. By that I mean it just powers down and shuts off. VERY ANNOYING. Especially when I'm talking to my doctor or a family member. Any thoughts as to why it may be doing this? HELP!!
It worked fine for a few months and then all of a sudden wouldn't come on anymore.
This phone will not sync with my email accounts. Brings up new email fine but once I have deleted it from the phone it is still in my account when I log on to my coomputer hours later. I spent well over an hour with tech support and they cannot resolve the issue. Also, the battery gets very hot when not in use. This tells me something is running in the background even though I have deleted as much of the bloatware I could either delete or shut down without rooting the phone, which would be my next step if I were keeping this phone. Lastly, it is a battery hog. Lasts maybe 6 hours away from a charger. I use my phone for business, I am constantly checking email and texting clients and business associates. I have to be able to use my phone even when I am not standing next to a wall charger. Sorry, but this one is going back and I am on to the next phone to try out for a week or two.
I purchased this phone to move away from contracted service with AT&T. At first things went well. I finally had service in my home and the phone was fast and responsive. Now, just a few months later, the phone is slow, laggy and half the time it shuts off spontaneously. Will not connect to WiFi and I keep getting this warning message that my messages aren't being sent (when they are). Thanks to all the changes in cellular service I was able to switch over to Verizon for less than my Straight Talk plan and I got a phone that rates higher than 8 out of 10 stars. Save your money.
The biggest down side to this phone is the Android 4.4 OS installed. I "upgraded" my old phone to this one because I needed more space and better performance. I purchased an 8GB SD card to go along with it so I would have more room for more apps. When I received this phone I found that I could not move any apps to the SD card and for some reason the 2GB of user data that sounds like a lot filled up much more quickly than I thought. If I had realized that the OS would be so restrictive I would have chosen a different model with an older OS so I could once again move apps to the SD card. To me, it doesn't matter how great the phone is if the OS is useless. Really a shame.
This is the worst phone I have ever owned. While it looks great, and appears promising, it disappoints. The storage problem is real. Listen to all the reviews. My phone cuts off and restarts itself, sometimes 2 or 3 times in a 10 minute span. Unbelievably annoying. My family always says don't use your phone ( always cutting off) I will look it up. Horrible phone. Don't waste your money. You have been warned. Oh short battery life as well.
