Perfect. just follow the instructions that come with the package and that's it. I was up and running in 5 minutes
I have been using Straight Talk for a few years and decided to upgrade my LG Optimus Q. I bought a T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S3 from a friend and ordered this T-Mobile micro sim for it. The transfer took a few hours and it has worked great since, way better than my old phone even though both are ST! All see are negative reviews for this so I decided to share my experience: The new phone was reset to factory settings when I got it. I went on the ST site and entered in the code. It prompted to change my APN settings in the new phone so the data could work. Then the wait began. I activated it around 11pm and still hadn't transferred by 1am when I went to bed with the new phone off. (old phone still works meanwhile) I woke up the next morning, reset my OLD phone and made a test call that failed, so I started up the new phone and made a test call that worked so the transfer was complete. With the APN changed beforehand the Internet worked and I began to tinker with my new phone. It has been GREAT! I even get the 4G symbol. It's SO much faster and has more space for apps.
I bought this sim card to use for a Bring Your Own Phone on the Straight Talk network. It works great!
I think alot of people have problems with their SIM card because they dont go to the straight byop website and check the compatiblity of their phone. I check all my phones and friends phones before recommending this to them. It is great service. T-mobile sims run on T-mobile towers and At&T runs on its own towers. Straight talk rents towers
I no longer wanted to use Verizon so I put this sim card into my Droid DNA and now I get better service. Thank You!
The card is great, just what I needed. But it took about 2 weeks to get, b/c it is not an in store purchase. Wal-Mart should carry the single sim card in store.
I am happy w/ the product, but I have to return this because the t-mobile phone I bought is not unlocked so unable to use product
I have been using straight talk for 2 years and haven't had any issues. I recently needed to get a new phone and ordered an unlocked blu phone thru walmart. The phone is nice but I can not face chat because it says it is not activated on my SIM card. Also when I was recently in Arizona I had absolutly no service any where and could not use the gps because there was no data connection. I'm not sure if because it's a straight talk t mobile SIM card that it runs off of t mobile towers? Either way I am not happy w the lack of service connection and will be returning the phone to purchase another straight talk phone.
The sim card doesn't work so I lost my phone number. I would think Family mobile could give the number back. WM is sending a new card, but they won't ship it fast so I am without a phone another week.
Before purchasing this, I already had a straight talk service with an At&t iPhone 5 that worked BEAUTIFULLY, but then made the decision to upgrade to a T Mobile iPhone 5s that I got for an amazing price. Of course, the At&t compatible sim card (You have to cut down these SIM cards from micro to nano size) wouldn't work for the new phone. So I went ahead and ordered the T Mobile compatible one, and it flat out DOES NOT WORK. No 4g, it went to 3g. Can't make or receive calls. I transferred my old ST number over to the new ST SIM, and now, because it doesn't work, I have to buy a new sim card to go back to my old phone. OR Trade this T Mobile iPhone 5s in for At&t one. Save yourself the headach
