My edges were fried from dye. I cut down the sides of my hair couldn’t even braid it. One month and I’m slapping the side of my head thinking something crawling on me but it’s my HAIR this stuff does work and even softens your texture. THE SMELL is strong so you might want to cut it with your favorite leave in conditioner, applying it straight to my head gave me a headache it is not hair grease a little goes a long way and your hair is Gona smell like perm for awhile. Apply every other day or so to give your hair a chance to absorb it. Overall I’m happily surprised way better than wild hair growth oil which did nothing for my edges.
I combine this product with my Palmers Gro Therapy to heal my scalp from dandruf, itchy and dry patches that are sore, and tender to touch from flat irons and curler burns. I melt each product in the microwave. I stir them together and use it in different ways. I regularly oil my entire scalp to avoid dry itchy scalp and dandruff. I use it as a hot oil treatment too. I use it to heal split ends and weak hair shafts by generously applying it very warm along the shafts, down to the roots and let it set for varying times up to 6 to twelve hours. I wipe it out with a towel and set it for curls the next day. This also softens and super conditions my grey hair and helps all of my hair become manageable and becoming.
I use this on my relaxed hair whenever I have a dandruff/itchy scalp flair up. I prefer this to dandruff shampoos which can be too harsh on my already dry-prone hair. The smell is not great but it works!
An oldie but goodie!!!!.....my grandmother use to use this on all her grandchildren's hair. My mom use to use it to straighten and curl my hair. I absolutely love sulfur 8. I will stick with all the oldies because I know that they still WORK today!!!!!!
This is the tried and true dandruff remedy! My daughter had serious dry patches that resulted in giant flakes. I used the Sulfur 8 shampoo

I love this grease. Have been using many many years. Hydrates my scalp. Almost done with 1 so ordered another ahead. Sulfur keeps the scalp clean and free of bacteria buildup.
Blended this hair grease with olive oil and OMG ! This product is a game changer and a must for protective styling to seal your hair after moisturizing. Not to mention it helps with any inflammation and calms your scalp. 10/10 would recommend and purchase again.
sulfur 8 is the only grease that I can use on my scalp that doesn't leave it itching in a few days. I have dry thick natural hair and I use this grease to put between my parts for protective styling, it helps with frizz keeping the style longer, and it helps with itching and dryness after washing. one disclaimer is that It does leave a smell in your hair and it is greasy and can weigh your hair down which is why I only use it for when my hair is pinned up for a few days. it keeps it moisturized and allows me to not have to disturb my hair. the smell is one of menthol mixed with a farty smell. ive been ok with it being that the whole family uses it but I would be concerned if a stranger walked in and it smells like boiled eggs. but otherwise im sold on this stuff, my kids use it and husband uses it and he has exzema and dry scalp that peels and this is the only thing that works consistently. we have been using it well over twenty years now and will continue.
This product is a life saver, I like to grow my hair high but my issue has been dandruff, I have been using both this product and the shampoo. Both of them have worked well for me. I will recommend this product for anyone with dandruff to try both the shampoo and the moisturizer.
