I really like this shade. Much better than the window shades, plus it doesn't decrease my visibility. It works well for my sons car seat, which is pretty wide. If you have a narrow car seat it might not work. The velcro strap is not very adjustable, pretty much just one size. You could make it work if you add some velcro to the strap or find another way of securing it. All in all, I think it is worth it.
When I put it on my daughters seat it bowed out on the sides so much that it is uncomfortable to sit next to her seat and my car is a full size suv so the back seat is not small and since it bows out so much on the sides it doesn't block the sun unless you hold it in towards her seat so I am no better off then before when I would just hold up something to block the sun I called the 1-800 number from the package and they were no help at all first they didn't even know the product then then they said its suppose to stick out on the sides and said that I could mail the item back to them and they would mail me another one but it would probably be the same so why would I pay to mail a piece of junk to get another piece of junk! So disappointed in the product and their customer service :(
