I love the way this canoe looks. It has three seats with cup holders, and the middle seat has a storage compartment under it, and a small dry box on top. I have not had the opportunity to get the canoe on the water yet, so do not know how well it handles floating, but can't wait to try it out. Shipping was a good experience. It took a while, but once I was notified for the upcoming delivery, the driver was friendly and helpful.
What a great canoe! It is roomy, well balanced, the weight is reasonable(my wife and I have no problem at all moving it wherever we need it to go). The cooler under the seat is small but a nice addition. The dry box is VERY small but it will hold both of our cell phones. Overall, I love this canoe.
Great canoe. Very stable, comfortable, and roomy. Used the free shipping to home option, it arrived several days earlier than expected. We were very pleased with the condition it arrived in.
The item shipped fast, but the shipping company misplaced the item and took longer to get to me. The canoe itself is well made and easy to move around. The middle "cooler" seat is about worthless though. I just used it to hide a Battery I mounted for some LED Lights I installed. The cooler latch is horrible and wont stay closed. I will add a better latch to keep it closed. Overall I would recommend the canoe.
Suprisingly light. My wife and I have no problem loading it on to our van. It is very sturdy in the water. I had taken my 3 kids in it without worrying about flipping it over. Does maneuver in water well. only downside is it scratches easily. Still, great buy.
Was shipped-to-store in plastic bag. About half of the screws for the seats were missing, so I am asking for help there. Looked up review about shipper listed on the 3rd party release document (Homedirectusa) and suddenly became grateful that only the plastic bag was shredded. The canoe appears to be what I wanted, and the price was a lot better than any others I could find.
Unfortunately, this boat arrived with a large dent in the front of it that went the entire way through to the inside. There was no problem returning it though. Walmart had it shipped back right away. On further inspection, the boat is very wide, large enough for a family to ride, so this can be a good thing. It also will not tip easily due to its width. It is VERY HEAVY for a canoe. Makes it a bit cumbersome to move around. Any time you move it around, it gets marked up due to the plastic material. All that being said, it is a terrific price for a canoe of this size, so that is a big plus. It is stable and large for a family. If it hadn't been dented so badly, we might have kept it. We replaced it with a pelican canoe of the same length. Much lighter and easier to maneuver. Very happy with this choice.
The canoe is big enough for 3, yet is light enough to be loaded on my Minivan by myself. The canoe is a little wider than I expected but makes it more stable. The rivet attaching the bow handle broke off after 2 uses, but I was able to replace it with a screw. The drink holders are too shallow to hold water bottles. Overall, it meets my needs but I wish it was made better.
Took 2 1/2 weeks to get here. It arrived with the plastic covering intact , but when I pulled it off, the boat was warped beyond use. I called the manufacturer and was told to "lay it in the sun and it will return to its original shape". So I did. No change. Taking it back to Walmart.
Canoe was delivered on time. Very big and heavy duty. We were leaving for spring break the next day. We put in water and starting sinking. We discovered that it had a hole. Looks like a forklift puncture it. Other than that stable. We decided to repair as we were on vacation. Would like to receive a new one.
