I simply snap it into place and can go on whacking those weeds. One spool of string lasts longer than the warm season of growth so I'm good to go the whole summer.
Afrer my edger ran out of trimming wire I tried reeling my own wire onto the small reel, and with my acrylic nAils ended up throwing wire and reel across the porch. When I received your trimmer spools it took less than a minute to put on my battery edger and will never let myself run out of your product again.................
I have an acre and a half of gardens, ornamental trees and outbuildings to trim around. A three pack of these trimmer spools lasts me a summer and a half with me trimming every week and a half. The line only continually feeds if you are constantly stopping and starting the trimmer. The trimmer these spools are designed for feeds the line every time you stop and start. Your line lasts a lot longer if you keep the trigger on the trimmer in the on position.
I bought the Sun Joe Lithium Battery Trimmer in April 2011, and ordered the extra spools at the same time. They are so easy to replace without the "usual" unwinding and mess with other trimmers. The trimmer has a lot of power and does a great job with the edging as well. I am reordering some spools so I'll have them for the rest of this year and into next year.
Super fast change the very first time. I expected more trouble, but didn't have any.
Is rapidly used up as it continually feeds out line.
I invested in the Sun Joe kit of trimmer and blower with batteries and charger when I had to cancel the lawn service and do the yard work myself. I wanted no gas motors, and no electric cords. The trimmer line is too fine for St. Augustine grass. It disintegrates. And it doesn't auto feed.
Did not last for my yard. That is the three spools. The original spool that came with the machine did the whole yard, a waste of $10.60.
