Light, with teflon bottom never had problems, suggestion only use distilled water to iron with so it will not cause any rust inside the iron. I have an older one and love it. My daughter is going to college and I ordered her one. Makes a great gift too!
This Iron is well within my budget and it serves the purpose. All cloth textures can be ironed by adjusting the dial. Water is appropriately used without making me fill it so often. It produces a tick like sound once it is ready for ironing after switching on. Since the cord is retractable, got rid of annoying lengthier cords.
I have owned this iron for several years. It does a great job removing wrinkles, is easy to fill with water, doesn't spew water everywhere, has all the appropriate fabric settings, and is fairly light weight. I especially like the retractable cord and the safety automatic turn off feature. I think it is a super product!
Iron leaks a little bit after the steam button has been pressed. Gets hot fast. Cord does not just suck up as I expected, gets jammed and can take a while to retract cord.
We tried two of these. They both leaked from the fill cap, leaving water drops on the clothes. Annoying, to say the least. Liked the features. Irons fine if you don't move too fast.
I recently purchased this iron to replace my previous one that was 11 years old. I think I would have been better off keeping the old one, as this new iron is terrible. The main reason I bought it was for the retractable cord, which my husband or I can never get to work. It will retract the cord almost all the way, leaving about 6 inches left, so what's the point. The other issue that I have, is that the iron is terribly top heavy. The slightest bump will cause the iron to topple right over when it's sitting up. Lastly, even though it has a cap on the water resevoir, the water somehow manages to still leak out. I would definitely not chose this iron again, and will be getting another new one to replace this one soon!
