I will agree with the other reviews and say this is a pretty noisy window fan. I try to and do sleep with this fan on but eventually wake up and have to turn it off cause of the noise. However i will disgree with them by saying it does its job. I only use it at night when its cool out to cool down a room in my apt, but i keep it off during the day. I would recommend it to cool a single room I would not recommend it if you plan on using it during sleep
Way too noisy even on low if you want to use in your bedroom. I like to sleep to white noise but even on low, this was way too noisy. It would probably be okay in a room that was loud anyway.
Had it running for hours and it didn't drop the temperature,not even a single degree. Who needs a thermostat when it doesn't even cool. Also, it was really loud and created a vibration in the walls and floor. You wouldn't be able to use it at night unless you slept very soundly. Disappointed.
I can't believe how poorly this window fan system worked, or should I say didn't work. I got no relief from the heat last year with one of these in each room no less. I had 2 in the kitchen and 4 in the living room and still no relief from the heat. Unless you want to be hot all summer, don't get this product.
Like some previous reviewers have pointed out, this fan provides no relief from the heat. My husband and I bought two for our living room and after 30 minutes of use, we felt no difference in the room temperature. You need to sit or stand almost 5 inches in front of the fan to get some relief. We returned them the very same day, and while waiting at the customer service desk, another person was returning one too!
