Simply stated... it holds all of our needed outdoor furniture stuff. It has rained several days and all of our seat coushins were dry. Very secure box. The lid is extra heavy. You can sit on lid. It looks like the picture. Very strudy and easy to install...just snap together the pieces. You will like this deck box. Great price!! You won't be disappointed...PS a couple of our neighbors plan on ordering this deck box after inspecting ours!!!
I needed a box for outdoor use. It has plenty of interior room and is sturdy enough to use as a seat. Easy to put together too. If I had to express any concern, it would be that the back hinges have a small opening that may allow insects to come & go. It could be closed off with duct tape, but I want some airflow and this seems to be the only spot for that. I really like the lockable feature. It has enough weight to stay in place, but not so heavy that I couldn't move it around on my own. Over all I am very happy with this box!
Walmart always seems to be the fastest shipper! Didn't take even ten minutes to assemble & really looks terrific! It doesn't rain much here in the San Diego area so not able to say whether it leaks or not! Thanks again Walmart!!
This is the replacement toy box for one I bought from Costco (Keter brand I think it was) and returned after a month. I compared prices at Lowes , Home Depot, and other Costco pool boxes and this was a good value and has done the job so far. Color matched our pool so that also motivated me to get it. So far it has been waterproof ( an errant hose spraying sideways could get under the lip of the lid but rain hasn't gotten in) Holds all the beach balls and pool toys. Has a strap to keep the lid open and not flopping over the backside. assembled in less than 10 min.
My first one I bought 14 years ago and it is still perfect. I gave it to my daughter and she is still using it. I love it for all my gardening products and tools. It also holds outdoor furniture cushions and they never get wet!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Comparable containers else where are approx. $60 - $70 more. Fits our two folding charis + all four cushions for the other chairs and four pillows. It makes it very convenient for putting them away and not getting them wet or faded. So far does not leak any water and we've had some pretty good thunderstorms. Good product overall.
We were hoping for something large enough to store cushions for a 5 piece, (4 chairs and a love seat) rattan patio set. This deck box is just large enough. It is also sturdy enough to seat 2 large adults. The wild raccoon has not been able to enter after we put a parachute ring through the hasp. We are very pleased with this product.
Easy to assemble. Snaps together. Looks nice on the patio and seems like a solid strong seat. Will enjoy next summer when BBQing. It is large inside for storing items.
I could not put it together. I am pretty smart, but had to have my brother-in-law come help me. It was missing a bolt so now I have to figure that out. The ad says it is a seat, but I do not recommend an adult sitting on it. Maybe a kid, but it does not seem strong enough for an adult. If I had a choice, I would return it. Still might.
Flimsy construction, no assembly instructions provided (easy to put together, but takes a long time with no step-by-step instructions...it must be put together in a specific sequence), looks like a casket, poorly made, not suitable for serious outdoor storage (expensive cushions). I'll probably throw it away if I can ever figure out how to take it apart (the flimsy box it was in was in a mess when it was delivered). A real bad buy.
