I MUST ADMIT THAT THIS INFORMATION GATHERED ON AN ITEM IS HELPFUL IN MANY WAYS NOT ONLY ON HOW GOOD OR BAD THE ITEM BUT THE COMMENTS ABOUT HOW HARD OR EASY IT IS TO ASSEMBLE. I LOVE SITE TO STORE I USE IT A LOT WHEN I SEND A GIFT TO MY GRANDKIDS I CAN HAVE IT SENT TO THEIR STORE SO THEY CAN PICK IT UP SAVING ME THE SHIPPING COST. IT CAME ON TIME AND DUE TO THE SIZE AND WEIGHT THEY SENT A NICE YOUNG MAN T LOAD IT FOR US. MY WIFE AND I ASSEMBLED IT IN LESS THEN 2 HOURS AND BECAUSE WE READ THE COMMENTS ABOUT THE TOP ASSEMBLY MADE IT EASIER IT WAS THE PERFECT SIZE FOR OUR YARD AND AND YARD EQUIPMENT!
You must have two people to assemble, one to hold the walls together & in place from the outside, while person two puts the screws in from the inside. We had some fairly heavy rain just after setting it up, & everything stayed nice & dry inside. I did put the shed on a pad of bricks & I'm glad I did, because now there's little chance if rain leaking in from the bottom.
The shed was so very easy to put together. It only took me about an hour, since I was working alone. I could not use the shelf, because the handles on my tools were too tall, so I had to go out and purchased an 18 inch tool rack, which I screwed into the back of the shed to keep the tools in place. Now my tools are easy to get to from my back patio instead of going to the front of my house to the garage. Otherwise, this is a great buy for my long handle garden tools.
Great product. Walmart price was the lowest. This product was easy to put together. I put this shed together in 45 minutes. I did this by myself & without using a ladder. I wanted this size shed (4' x 5') because it replaced a steel shed I had for 40 years. I would recommend this shed to anybody with limited space. The only thing you must do before putting this shed together is to make sure the area is level. Ordering this shed online & shipping to store, saved me $99!
I had a requirement for an affordable and easy to assemble unit to house pest control, lawn care and maintenance products. I got that and more. 1- Affordability. Unquestionably the lowest priced shed in its class. 2. Assembly. Easy to read instructions with no special tools required. Total assembly took 20 minutes from start to finish. 3.Visual. Rugged design and yet looks great next to flower garden. 4. Versatility. Rugged design with multiple configuration options to accommodate a wide range of lawn care products. Waterproof design tested during recent North-Texas thunderstorm; no issues. I am extremely satisfied with this shed.
The house we bought last year had some narrow DIY shelves that looked sloppy and exposed the bins and stuff stored on them. Rather than frame in the space with sheet rock, I got the idea to replace the shelves with a plastic storage shed. We live on the ocean, so the plastic eliminates rust and protects the contents from salt air. This is not a one-person assembly job, although I did assemble it myself in about an hour - not including 3 wood shelves I installed later by bolting 2x4s to the walls using 3/8" bolts with wide washers to protect the plastic walls. With a second person to bend in the rear corners while a you insert and tighten the plastic bolts, assembly should take 20 minutes. After half an hour of fussing, I managed to get the first corner bolted together - and the rest was easy. The new shed really tidied up my garage.
Easy to assemble. Walmart price better than anyother I searched. Also free delivery to store. Bonus is it is Made In America. A few weeks ago I purchased the horizontal shed from Suncast and this matches it. It arrived on the date given. Would have given it a 5 if it had a way of hanging some items.
This shed was great for the price, however, the first one delivered had no hardware or directions. A call to Walmart.com fixed that by sending another complete shed delivered in two days. This shed went up without a hitch, very easy to assemble, and the first shed was picked up by FedEx the next day. I would definitely purchase from Walmart.com again.
It does require two people to push and pull on this creature to put it together. The middle hinges keep popping out --- But it does keep things dry and it is not unattractive. I would recommend this only because it seems to be the most ok thing on the market.
The item arrived as scheduled, but when we got it home and opened the box - there was no hardware. I drove to a hardware store to try and find something to make it work, but no one had screws large enough. So, I wasted three hours of my only day off on this thing, only to have to return it to the store. And, to make matters better, the woman at the return counter said I was the second person to return this shed for the same reason. Buyer beware.
