This is my 2nd one, loved the first one so much, I bought a second one!
A little heavy but all shovels are with wet snow.Built better than steel ones.
This is a great shovel, and the ergonomic design is the best I've seen. My only problem with the shovel is its weight. It's a little heavy for me to lift and seems heavier than others I've used.
If you just wish to push this shovel then it is marginal. The heaviest snow shovel I've encountered. Not for shoveling and throwing snow. The only thing going for it is the scraper, very well built and easily gets under the snow. The handle is very solid and you will not break it, the plastic scooper and handle are the weak links. We just recently had several inches of heavy wet snow which our single stage snow blower cannot handle, I cleared our large lengthy driveway with this. Great workout, can skip a workout at the gym. I am a big guy and I found this shovel to be the heaviest I've encountered. My wife picked it up and tried it, too heavy. Lighter powder snow should be fine, then push the snow with it.
