Nice outdoor storage

It's exactly what I needed! I have a place to keep my chair cushions dry and store a few gardening items out of sight. Also, it's study enough to sit on if extra seating is needed.

excellent deal and organization product

I have been looking for a deck box since June. I had really done my homework...reading reviews and comparing prices, from Amazon to Ebay. I even periodically checked Craigslist. This particular product's reviews and Walmart's site to store shipping finally pushed this frugal, organization-obsessed lady to make a purchase. It's a great size. It was fairly easy to assemble. I only needed a screwdriver. My chief concern is the "hinge" system. They are relatively thin plastic and may not hold up to my 4 year old's recklessness. His outdoor toys are in the box. Only time will tell. It looks fantastic! I'm cautiously optimistic. Oh, and my 4 year old LOVES the box in which it came. It's been a slide and fort.

Fantastic waterproof box that doubles as seating

Great outdoor storage with both style and function. We love that this box is both waterproof (we have already had some big Chicago thunderstorms) and looks great. It also holds up to 500 pounds, so two guests could sit on it if needed. It comfortably holds cushions (5 back pillows 3 bottom cushions) from a bench (44 inches wide) and two large chairs. We love the box! Will probably sneak a few decorative pillows in there as well.

good construction; no lock?

The box arrived without a scratch, and was incredibly easy to assemble - basically just snapping the pieces together. It's waterproof, as long as you keep the lid held down with something. Nowhere in there does it tell you about needing a lock for it, but it comes with a small bracket attachment that a padlock will fit into. Without the lock, strong wind will make the top fly up and there goes your waterproofing. Other than that, it's great for smaller cushions. I have overstuffed furniture on the deck, and the large seat cushions don't fit in it at all. It's large enough to fit everything else except those.

Great storage easy assembly

Arrived via Fed Ex. One big box. Easy to assemble. Took me 20 mins!! Using it for summer storage of my 3 yr olds beach and deck outdoor items. Plus my beach chairs (bonus!).

Stay away from Suncast Box poorly manufactured

This box is cheaply made and Suncast does not honor their warranty. The notch that holds the left side Lid Strap broke and the strap does not stay put. I contacted Suncast and they accused me of abusing the box, stating the only way that notch break is with excessive force. If that had occurred both sides with the Lid Straps would have broke. I also had problems with lid not fitting, however Suncast did replace lid.
