Had spotty cell coverage to begin with, then had metal roof installed which made it even worse in some areas and no service in certain spots in house. Installed the Surecall Flare Signal-Booster Kit and now sending text picture messages is a breeze! No more dropped calls too. Easy to install after watching videos. Well worth the price! Would highly recommend if you're looking to boost your signal indoors.
Live in New Jersey. Had it Installed at the side of my house on the roof line. Ran the cable approx 40feet between the base in my first floor bedroom and the antenna. Working well so far. Getting signal in my basement. Normally can't get any signal at all. Very happy with the purchase and results.
I installed his unit at my mom's house in the Elysian Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. This area is notorious for poor cell phone transmission/reception since the area consists of several steep hills and valleys. I placed the omnidirectional antenna atop a 10ft., rooftop chimney mounted mast. The service inside the house improved dramatically (for Sprint only, I can't comment on other carriers). Wherby before coverage was spot at best, working while sitting in one part of the house but not another, I was able to connect and complete a call anywhere with house. The only reason that I gave only four stars is because Surecall recommends at least 25 ft. of separation between the outdoor and indoor antenna, which I did accomplish, but the right LED would still flash yellow, signifying that the Automatic Gain Control was preventing oscillation, yet even pulling the unit all the length of the excess cable in the direction away from the outdoor antenna, it still would continue to flash yellow (I actually used the entire length of the included 50ft. RG6 cable, bought and additional 25 feet, and married them with a coupler to reach an adjacent room farther away from the antenna). Everything is working great, calls are loud and clear, which would be the ultimate criteria of effectiveness, yet that yellow flashing light would always be in the back of my mind that I could have done something better.
Had no service in most of our hunting cabin, also had to go outside and find place for calls, now can use anywhere in cabin
Working pretty well to enhance cellphone reception
I bought one for my metal building and it works great. I could not make a call before and now have full service. I have bought a second one for house. Maybe the more expensive ones work better, but I know this one is working for me.
Seems to improve signal inside our metal cabin BUT50 ft cable connections are a pice of crap- broke when tightening. I believe they should send me another. I'd be happy to return their poor quality connection one.
I give it one star because it arrived in a box that was absolutely destroyed. I've read great reviews!
