This product does a great job if you have a dog that sheds. I have light color tile in my kitchen and it really shows the hair since my dog is slate in coloring. I would advise dog owners to give it a try. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This product is wonderful for those areas in the house where there is a need for a wider dust "sweeper"that reduces the number of times you have to go back and forth! I would like to see the company make the wet cloths in an X-large size for this. The X-large dry cloths work beautifully and this would be a nice addition to the product line to see wet cloths available too! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Could have been 5 stars if Swiffer offered an XL sized wet cloth! The dry sweeper cloths work extremely well on both wood and tile floors, love the XL size! I get my floor swept in a fraction of the time in took with the regular size. But, to mop the floors with the XL, you have to attach 2 regular sized wet cloths, and they don't fit properly. They are not long enough to reach into the little holders, so they come out easily if you put any pressure on the mop head during scrubbing. And they overlap in the middle width-wise, so the center is thicker and the underneath part of the cloth is wasted. Doesn't make sense to not have an XL wet cloth refill!! If Swiffer doesn't plan on making one, they should at the very least make the flaps on the regular sized ones longer so they can be secured into the holders better. The Xlarge size sold me on a Swiffer. I am the owner of a pet that constantly sheds. I have found the Xlarge dry cloths very easy to use on a daily basis. However, it drives me bonkers that there are no Xlarge wet cloths available. I have tried 2 small ones, but to no avail. They are not wide enough and repeatedly fall off. I have vinyl flooring and would have been over the moon with this product if the wet cloths were available in Xlarge. I have to use another product to mop the floor. I will use my Swiffer until it breaks, but I will not purchase this product again. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
didn't like the fact you have to use 2 regular size wet pads because they dont make an x-large wet pad and packaging doesn't tell you that untill you open it. i dont see why you don't make an x-large wet pad if you make a x-large dry pad.the regular wet pads don,t don't lock in very good(short)
Was excited to find an extra large Swiffer sweeper, especially with wet cloths. Too bad. There are NO refills available. Why are they selling this product with no refills available? At a minimum, this information should have been provided. Of course, had it been, I wouldn't have bothered buying it!
The concept is cool, but you can't purchase the dry refills in the store, and Swiffer doesn't even make wet refills for this size. I've tried using it with one wet cloth and two wet cloths, and it's ineffective. Very disappointing. The wet pads were entriely too small for the x-large sweeper. Was more of a hassle then anything. Pretty bummed because I thought I found a fool proof way to get my fiance to clean and he refuses to mess around with it at all now. You guys definitely need to come up w/ x-large wet pads to fit better
I bought a box of the dry refills for the Pro by mistake. I saw the words 'Heavy Duty' but in my haste I missed the fact that they are 1.5 times the width of my Swiffer - partly because in my view the boxes are too similar. Only realised after I'd opened them, so can't take them back.
I should have looked at the website reviews first! I purchased an X-Large Swiffer Sweeper and only after I got home did I discover that the 2 extra wet pads packaged with the Sweeper were standard size and didn't fit the Sweeper that they accompanied. Worse still, there are NO wet pads that fit the X-Large Sweeper. This is a colossally bad marketing failure. If Swiffer has any class, it should recall all the X-Large Sweepers or else provide free X-Large wet pads (whenever they're available) to all purchasers.
