For the price you can't beat it. The minutes don't expire every 30, 60, or 90 days like other refill cards which was a big deciding factor in my purchase, and I can still have the portability of a cell phone for emergencies without being tied to a landline. I strictly use it for T-mobile's "pay as you go" plan (just a fancy term for prepaid) and the usage fee for days when the phone is actually used is half of what other companies charge for their daily usage fee - which is great when you are trying to stick to a tight budget.
